We installed today!!
Updating our lighting, choose this to go over dining room table. My husband & I installed this fixture today. All the parts were in the box, we did have to assemble the fixture before installing. We have a high/slanted ceiling and this worked great. We measured and cut the chain and wire before we installed. This fixture does have some weight to it, so it took both of us to handle installation. I think it looks great, looking forward to years of use. I found this on another website, but ordered from Amazon for price & free shipping. We already had a dimming switch, and we used dimmable bulbs so this does work with a dimmer as stated in description.

Franklin Iron Works Chandelier
LOVE this beautiful chandelier! Was SO HAPPY to be able to still get it, was sold out on Lamps Plus website, but still available thru their Amazon store. It arrived in 2 days, SUPER FAST shipping from Lamps Plus. It is so unique, goes with our decor perfectly. It would work with many decorating styles, except very modern. The bronze color is a great neutral, as long as you don't have chrome or silver fixtures.Before I ordered the light, I could not find any information on Franklin Iron Works, the manufacturer. I finally found some comments in an oline message board, someone else was trying to find out who they were. Turns out this is a line that is manufactured by Lamps Plus, in China. I was disappointed to read that, but still ordered the light. Although I love the light, I did overpay for it. There are a few very minor flaws, and you can tell the metal is stamped, not forged, as someone on the message board had pointed out.The quality is ok, one of the "candleholders" is slightly crooked, as is one of the filigree arms, butiIt isn't that noticeable.It is a really beautiful chandelier. I couldn't stop looking at it after it was installed by my husband. He installed it by himself, ingenious guy that he is. All in all, we are pleased with it.
