Nice bottles
Like pretty much anything else from CamelBak, these are nice water bottles. The insulation factor is nice and I've found my water stays pretty cold even in the Florida heat. The twist lock spout is a nice feature, although I've never experienced leaking even when it isn't locked. Definitely recommend

Great bottle--keeps fluid over the long haul!
Long been a camelbak fan. Have used various water bottles and hydropacks for decades. The podium chill insulated bottle is no different. Own four of them and they are basically the only bottles I ever use. Fluids remain cool, even in the hot SoCal sun, over long 30+ mile rides. They function well, I've never had any problems with losing a bottle from flying out of the cage on road bumps, gravel or mtb trails. They feel good in my hand, are easy to squeeze, and are durable. That said, be careful in washing them. I've found that after washing with diluted soapy water, I need to rinse out the bottles extremely thoroughly with only hot water otherwise, it seems pretty easy for liquids to take on a soapy taste, which is unpleasant. That's not Camebak's fault, but a lesson learned in maintaining & using the water bottles.

Require thorough cleaning to remove plastic smell and taste
Doesn't leak at all.I initially assumed that the truetaste works right out of the box (or bag... it came in a bag). I was wrong in that assessment. Before my first ride, I did a light cleaning with soapy water but that wasn't enough to get rid of the plastic. At my first ride, the bottle reeks of plastic smell and taste. After a thorough clean with diluted white vinegar (1:8 vinegar:water ratio) and rinsing with soapy water > purified water, it doesn't taste of plastic. There may be a bit of a bitter taste, but I think that's due to squeezing the bottle and having the water mix with air or something. I'm not a chemist. It's a decent bottle, does feel durable. It doesn't hold temperature as well as a vacuum isolated water bottle like my Takeya or Simply Modern, but it's fine.

Insulated water bottle
Absolutely love these water bottles. The Insulated design allows the water to stay cold longer while being light weight and durable. Highly recommend this bottle.

Good enough that I order 2 of the 24 ounce bottle
Purchased two bottles as a test run. Rode for an hour in 85+ degree temps doing some harder threshold intervals.Filled both bottles half full with small "nugget ice" ice cubes and one bottle with hydration mix and the other straight waterI was very surprised to have the hydration bottle still have some of the ice left as I neared the end bottle and end of the hour ride. The 2nd bottle (water) was about half full and the ice was gone but the water was still cold(ish)I would say the only issue I have is, the bottle outside are on the slick or slippery side which may or may not become an issue during various faster group ride or races. (hate to be that person that drops a bottle mid pack!!!)

Keeps water cold longer
I like my other Podium bottles, so I tried the chill. This works great for keeping water cold during my bike rides and outdoor runs in the hot weather.
