SicceMICRA Compact Aquarium Pump, 90 GPH, for submerged use in freshwater and saltwater

I bought these pumps to replace the stock pump in my Fluval Spec 2.6 as I did a saltwater conversion.MICRAPLUS 158 GPH:Great build quality! Feels solid, has nice suction cups and it's easy to take apart and clean. Solid and consistent flow with no hiccups. It was audible while it ran but not annoying. To be fair, I do have the tank on my work desk so it's about 3 feet away. It ran without a hitch, 24x7, for nearly a full year so reliability seems excellent so far. I'm not using it at the moment but it still functions and will serve as a back-up pump!MICRA 90GPH:I replaced the MicraPlus with the standard Micra as I felt the former has a bit too much flow for a 2.6g tank. It's the exact same design, build quality and ease of use as the MicraPlus - only this one is noticeably MUCH quieter. I went from hearing a slight hum at 3 feet away to dead silence, even from six inches away.Overall, very happy with my purchases and I highly recommend these products.

Item arrived without a hose fitting. Pump works great but useless without the fitting.

Small and compact pump. Fits well as a replacement for the stock pump on an old 14 gallon biocube converted into a paludarium, and would probably fit in the chamber of similar all in one aquariums. Mine came as a warehouse deal so it was missing the adapter for the tubing. May be able to get a replacement from Sicce, but I found some tubing that fits the standard tip. Has plenty of flow to pump up about 8 inches above the water line and into a filter sock. Has a small sponge prefilter to prevent substrate and debris from being sucked into the impeller. Very quiet compared to an older generic pump I was using before.

This is my second replacement for a fountain as the first replacement barely lasted a year. The original pump in the fountain was an identical model number but was good for twenty years.

Used this in a fluval evo 5 gallon fishtank as a pump upgrade. It definitely increases the flow but you do have to take the back plate off and shave a bit of the edge to make the fit a little smoother. No issues so far, and it's silent.

Works better than the original, maybe just because it's new. Old style eshops nano skimmer with the big blue magnet.

Product didn’t come in a box and was missing the rubber feet and the attachment piece for the hose. Would of gave a zero if I could.

The pump worked great, however it was a replacement for a fountain I've had for years. The power cord changed from round to rectangular. This only affected me when trying to seal the bottom of the fountain where the power chord went through. IE - the hole in the plug that sealed the fountain was round. The dilemma.... fitting a rectangular chord in a round hole. Flex glue was the solution.
