The pricing on these lights is without a doubt unbeatable, but I would not recommend these for studio lights. They do not come with a carrying case, so transporting these are hard.For beginning photographers, I would suggest a set that are going to work better with the type of photography you would use them for. Outdoor lighting to prevent shadows are a great use for these lights, but inside studio work, such as portraits, I'd recommend something with a flash system on it.

I use them in my house to shoot youtube videos and they work great. The light in the videos come out very professional. I'm very happy.(I broke one light thou, but entirely my fault, I pushed the plugging cable and the light fall)Definitely reccomend!

the quality and ease of use of everything is great. accept for the bulbs. crappy quality bulbs.

They look very professional, and if you want to create the "illusion" of a photo shoot, these are your guys. However, for practical use in lighting for photos, doesn't really do much.

I do not think that these let off a powerful enough light to actually be useful. The umbrella is supposed to diffuse the light but the bulbs are so weak that you cannot use the umbrella.

This little lighting kit works perfectly. For the price, this is a steal. Must have for beginners.

They came fast, easy to set up, and included bulbs are pretty bright. I would suggest 100w LED daylight bulbs though to make them brighter. Only thing is I wish they would have came with I structures on how to put the mount onto the tripod.
