An all around great purchase-reasonably priced, shipped quickly & is even better than expected!Used it to teach myself how to pan for gold & found plenty of it in this bag, more than I thought I would.I had received a gold panning kit for my birthday, but had absolutely no idea what to do in order to actually find gold.After spending hours researching online, I found that there’s a very specific way to do it & decided to go at it with dirt from different areas around my house, but wasn’t sure I was REALLY even doing it correctly.After a bit of further research, I found this product & ordered it in the hopes that it may help with my technique. I think it did just that.Now I feel a lot more confident that if it’s there, I’ll find it.Thanks for making this product available for people like me, now I have a new hobby that has the potential to make me money!

Absoloutley not worth 65$. I pay 28 for the same weight on another product and get 12 flakes. This "Hunt for Troy Ounce," well, I got 4 small flakes. Never again! What a way to dampen a man's fun. Don't buy!

Don't waste your money.

Nice quality dirt. A lot of shiny chrystalline sands and black magnetite.In a 2 lb. I was able to find with my eyes 1/3 gram of gold. Most were 10-20 size nuggets.But an equal amt. of gold dust.After sluicing, panning, drybanking, and diggin and finding, there is so much more gold dust any of us give it credit.Look,........., this is a fun past time for the stresses of our world. One place you can go is to discover Nature’s bounty. Every creek, every river, every discovery. Gold is a fun pastime and once hooked you are hooked. Read about the early discoverers and bring it home to your dining room table.If there is a Caveat Emperor I would say if they are not high volume, are they high volume elsewhere. Most does not come from EBay.It comes from reputable jewelers and Miners who are grateful to be a portage vessel for this wondrous metal that is sooo exquisite that only an ounce of pure gold in your fingers may temp you.But do be careful. Buy some and get over it, or dive in Head first

Great for confined area small amount of material to pan good gold

As a previous winner from last years batch, there is not a better feeling than seeing this much gold in your pan. Even if you don't hit the Glory Bag, you still are a winner. You get nice pickers, nuggets and, flakes. This is hands down the best paydirt I have ever bought. Great family fun at a better price. Perfect to hone your panning skills and to learn how gold acts in a pan. Also, the costumer service is top notch and you get you package quick. This company is great! Now I just hope I win that oz again.

I just waisted $70.This is the worst paydirt I have ever bought. 2 tiny pieces and small amount of flour gold. Super hard to pan. I seen 20 reviews. My second bag of PayDirt. I again used the 2 step process of using a 20 mesh classifier to separate the paydirt , and found one small picker and another smaller piece of gold, suprising it didn't go thru to 20 mash classifier. Panned the +20 material, found again maybe 7 small pieces of gold. Threw it into my secondary catch basin, and started with the -20 material. Found a number of small pieces of mica, but at the and of it all, recovered 0.351 grams of gold, again not the highest amount of gold found, not the smallest either.
