Pet Life Metallic Fashion Dog Parka With Removable Hood Camo Metallic (Medium)

I live in Chicago and after seeing my two Maltese suffer through the 2014 polar vortex I was determined to find them the warmest coat possible. This jacket was a godsend! Not only do my two monsters look cute in their "his (camo)" and "hers (pink metallic)" puffy coats but they are super warm. The jacket has plenty of room for a sweater underneath, the belly is completely covered (which is excellent since my pups are so low to the ground), the pretty full sleeves on the front legs protects them from the blustering winds and the snow that would hit them from the front. It's also very easy to put this on too.I only have two complaints: the slot for the harness was seen almost completely shut and I couldn't open it without damaging the coat. I just hook the leash to their collars not ideal since this breed is known to slip the collars because of their necks are bigger than their heads. The second complaint is the Velcro wasn't reinforced well in one of the coats so after a couple of dozen uses it began to separate from the coat. I had to break out the ole sewing kit and reinforce it myself. Despite these couple of issues, I would definitely recommend these coats.

I love this little coat. It took my Chihuahua some time getting used to walking in it. He now just loves it and waits for me to put it on. My dog weighs 7lbs and the small fits him perfectly. The Velcro closer went within a month which was disappointing. I went to Michaels craft store and bought a set of very huge 1 1/2inch snaps and sewed then on....So don't expect the Velcro to last long. The hood doesn't work well the dog cannot see to walk so you have to make sure it folded back. The hood is detachable . It's a very warm coat and worked out perfectly after the alterations! I live in the east coast we have very cold winter's.

I got this coat for my 10lb daucshound and from what i can tell he really likes it, its a bit baggy on his belly but i think thats because of his breed but the one major complaint i have about this product is that the velcro didn't last long at all. He wore it quite a bit because were i live it is very cold and maybe a month of him wearing it on and off the velcro wont even stick anymore and wont stay shut at all! so now i have to take it to a seamstress and get the velcro replaced with a zipper which i think will work much better

While my dog does not currently love this coat yet (because he loved his old, too small coat), it fits him very well and he is no longer shivering when I take him out in this 5 degree weather. It does make a little bit of a rustling noise when he walks but I am sure he will get used to that fast. I don't use the hood though because it comes down over his eyes and he refuses to walk then. I love it.

Ran a little small

Love this coat, had it once before when dog was a puppy, but too pricey to get until now. GREAT coat for very cold outdoor weather and the sleeves are longer than any other coat out there. I was so happy to find this coat online for a great price!!
