Nice and powerful! But be aware!
I grabbed a 9 volt battery and tested it out, and was really excited at how bright it was. Green is such a cool lazer color!I have NO idea how im suposed to permanently power this thing (i want to mount it on a big wooden block i use for burning incense) i tried googling what to do but theres not much information (if there is i have no idea what to look for)But yea the lazer is awesome! But if you have no idea how to hook stuff like this up... maybe find something else.

Not bad. For the price - excellent!
We were working on a fun project- building a "laser swamp" (look it up on youtube!)The full kits are sold for the tune of $400 a piece, so this laser is a great money-saver! (I highly recommend to purchase laser brackets for them as well, it will make leveling A LOT easier!)All lasers worked, but there was a visible brightness variance from unit to unit.It would also be a lot better if the spread angle were 90°, not 60°.Anyhow, they worked well in the project, the swamp was amazing!

Worth a look 👍
There’s not a whole lot to say other than it works as described in the description and specifications. My application doesn’t require visibility in full sunlight but it’s nice and bright indoors and a huge step up from a red laser of comparable power.I took a chance on this because it had a 3.2 rating when I purchased it. From my experience, it should be at least a 4.5. I’m ordering another and will change my rating/review if needed.

Very poor out of tolerance
Spec claim 1.2 mm at 1 meter. Line on left is factory .08mm at 60cm. Line on left is this laser at 5.2 mm at same distance, roughly 60 cm. From a two laser cross point for drill press. Completely worthless. My defective laser of 10 years is sharper. Do not buy.

Great substitute part
Bought these instead of the 250.00 (each) OEM models for a machine I’m responsible for. So far they have outlasted OEM by a factor of 2 and are brighter.

Rip off; buy a better quality laser for $3.
[edit] After reading my review the seller refunded my money without me even asking (I had some delays in getting around to testing so I was already past 30 days and really didn't expect a refund). So that's good. Heck, I might even risk buying one of their more expensive lasers at this point...although even if perfect I don't think I could justify $50+ for any laser on any project I've had so far. I went and gave the seller a 5-star review, but the part itself still barely deserves the 3 stars so I'm leaving that as others also have.[end of edit]There is no focus on this, so it looks terrible at all but one distance...this distance seems to be about 2 meters. Even then the line is a lot thicker towards the middle. Even at the ideal range, those $3 cheap-o lasers make better quality lines. The laser is bright; not as bright as some Chinese lasers that are well into class 3 while being sold as class 1, but better than anything that is actually class 1.I ended up going back to the $3 line laser I was using before because it is a much better product. Quarton calls this a "ECONOMICAL LINE LASER"...but at 8x the price of better lasers, that's not exactly true. It's less than half the price of the next step up in the Quarton line but it's still amazingly overpriced compared to better lasers from other companies. If you are concerned that the quality of the cheap laser will be bad, buy a bunch of them for the same price and use the best one.The body is sort of nice; it doesn't have that 'cheap' look you get from the cheap lasers. But the idea of a laser is the beam; not the body. Plus, the body lacks focus adjustment so it just looks nice; it's actually junk.To Quarton: I understand you want to offer a cheap laser for people who don't want to pay $50+ for a basic line. However, this is just a terrible product that shouldn't exist. Your higher end products might be better...but I'll never know because after using this, I won't risk my money with you again. I buy lasers frequently and wanted to give your company a chance for my higher end projects. You've lost the chance to get future sales from me, my friends, and my clients. I guarantee it wasn't worth the profit on a $25 sale.

Bright Green Line
Used this wired into a 9-volt battery as a cut-line indicator on a panel saw. Build the whole thing for under fifty bucks, whereas the factory model was over two hundred and was a weak red line. This is very bright and visible in daylight at my use distance of about three feet.
