[Nightglow Green] Case for Apple TV 4K / 4th Gen Remote, Akwox Light Weight [Anti Slip] Shock Proof Silicone Cover [Lanyard Included] -not for New Apple 4k TV Series 6th Gen 2021

My biggest issue with the apple remote is just how small and slippery it is, and how easy it is to lose it. This case not only makes it more ergonomic to hold, but it's easier to see when it's lost in the sofa and it even came with a wrist strap!

When I decided to buy this I did so because of the color & how it said it would glow in the dark. Sadly I was mislead but other than that I do love the case! The remote fits perfectly. My other case was loose, but not this one. So if you don’t mind that it doesn’t glow in the dark then I would recommend this one!

Always find your remote, never again misplace the remote when it is hidden in plain view, also a little drop protection. very happy with purchase

The media could not be loaded.  I got it (as did many others) to help with finding this always-seems-to-get-lost Apple TV 4K remote. The build quality is solid, it comes with a lanyard and is reasonably easy to attach, the remote fits in nicely with minimal effort, and it is indeed much easier to find. Doesn’t glow anywhere near as bright as the pictures (nor did I expect it to). The lanyard is a game-changer for me. I loved that about our old 2nd gen Roku. More in-depth review below...It does faintly glow-in-the-dark, but not enough to be useful or practical (25%-30% of picture). Material adds nice weight and grip surface to remote, and I like the additional rubber padding it adds on the bottom at either end. That rubber makes this otherwise unpleasant-in-the-hand Apple remote far more ergonomic. The rubber itself has a slick quality, but it leaves it feeling soft rather than actually slippery. The cutouts (both siri mics, Apple logo, charging port and IR transmitter) all line up well when remote is fit in (Apple logo isn't perfect but very close). The edges of the cutouts do not have excessive leftover rubber from the factory (except the charging port, but barely). I don’t place games on the AppleTV and can’t comment on that, but it does sit nicely in a sideways controller-esque orientation (due to bottom rubber pads on either end).Price is definitely in-line with quality, and mostly jives with the expectations set by the description. My only real complaint is about the glow-in-the-dark, or lack thereof. As I said, it does glow but only about 25-30% as advertised. I would have gotten it anyway, but I doubt anything for 9 bucks will glow that much (lol...).I hope that helps someone! Enjoy this cover if you get it! I added pics and a video. In Video: remote has been sitting flat in average natural lit room for few hours - that’s the glow you can expect. It is brighter if you charge it a bit under a light (maybe UV if you have one), but that’s impractical to me.

This case is what I needed but didn’t know it. HOWEVER it doesn’t glow in the dark - I tried !!!! It’s ok tho. Case fits and protects my Apple remote which is a plus in my book.

The color is gorgeous, but does not glow in the dark. Its vibrant blue does make it easier to locate. The material makes the remote easier to grip, but is flimsy and the cord tore off the bottom unfortunately. Overall it is nice, it is slightly loose on our remote, but overall works well. We mainly wanted something more visible and easier to grip.

I took these pictures to demonstrate how the remote no longer slips away and under the cushion/couch/chair/ottoman/blanket/pillow/black hole. I didn’t even know these existed until I saw it on Prime Day. I slipped the cover on the remote and handed it to my husband and the first thing he did was stick it on the arm of the couch and bang on the couch to simulate it being bumped into via everyday life. I DID NOT MOVE. If you’ve had an AppleTV long you know the struggle! Equally important is the fact that the remote by itself is small and slick and both of our hands were cramped trying to use it during long viewing periods. This cover is one of those tiny game changers that remove a layer of unnecessary frustration from life. If I had more remotes I’d buy more! Feels smooth and seems durable for intended use. 5 stars!

I like that it makes the Apple remote easier to hold, but the fact it is called NightGlow is misleading. It is pink - the color does not change at all whatsoever, no matter the lighting (or lack thereof) it is exposed to. While it is helpful in handling the remote, I purchased this specific one over others because I thought it would be easier to find in a dark room if it glowed a bit. This does not glow at all.
