Great Connectors
Basic RJ45 plug that worked great with my network connections. These are a lot cheaper than the store bought one in price. They do cost more than others are selling them for but are worth it. I have use 30 so far and not one problem. You do have to align the wires when you insert the plug because these are not pass through. Take your time and do it right the first time and you wont have any problems.

Best on Amazon
Tried many different connectors, these are the best. Why? Because they snap in and hold the connection perfectly. I have bought 3 or 4 packs of these because I know they are always reliable. I have purchased cheaper versions that I thought would be "fine", but every time I was disappointed, why? Because the little tab that holds the whole connector in doesn't keep the connector in place. We have had many connectors come loose from the cheaper version. Just buy them. I feel like I should be getting paid for this review... or get some free stuff from belkin :)

Cheap and work as expected
These work as expected and are cheaper than buying at the local store. Suggest having plenty around before starting any project and strongly suggest investing in the correct crimping tool before starting any mproject more than a patch cable to save a lot of headaches. Cat5 cable and RJ45 connectors are really easy with the right equipment and a pain in the rear without it.

Works alright but try to get the non rounded opening version
These are the round cable edition. Instead of just a traditional rectangular opening to feed the wire and twisted pairs into, the opening is flat on the bottom of the connector but rounded on the top like a half oval. They work however I worry about the longevity of the cables made using these as the rounded opening does not secure the cable as well as the Belkin connectors that just have the standard wire entrance. There is a lot of play even after crimping as far as possible and it truly seems like over time this will cause an issue.

My favorite
After trying so many different products these were the one i was most comfortable with in terms of performance and easyness of actually putting into the cable.Go for it!

Connector kit R6G088
Very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of these connectors. Was easy to use. Made up several patch cables with ease.

Did the trick
The Product is a good product, I liked it very well there were some unexpected values and cons but over all it wasn't half bad. I do like that it is easy to hold... I thing the delivery was quick and the vendor was pleasant I believe I would recommend this to my friends.

Good connectors
No issues, work very well. No problem with the tabs breaking like I have had with some other modular connectors.

Out of spec - so don't always work
I've never had any problems crimping these connectors, and I always get 100% connection on the cables (checked with a cable tester). However, the IDC contacts are too shallow and, once crimped, sit too low in the plug. Compared with other RJ45 connectors the difference seems to be as much as 0.8mm.In addition, they tend to be a little loose in most RJ45 sockets.Although they do make satisfactory contact in some sockets, I've found quite a few where they do not and so cannot be used and I've ended up throwing a lot of them away.<later> As a follow-up, I've checked the dimensions of the "crimp height" of these plugs and they are well outside the RJ45 specification - they vary from 5.40mm to 5.95mm (measured across 30 pins on stranded and solid conductors) - the RJ45 specification is 6.05-6.25mmAlso, checking the plug width there is considerable variation in these plugs. The RJ45 spec has the plug width between 11.58 and 11.83mm. The plugs I've measured vary from an out-of-spec 11.48mm to 11.67mm, so it's not surprising that they feel loose in some sockets.I guess they are cheap, and some may have no problems with them, but I would certainly never use them again.

Not reliable and hard to work with
I've made up cables with quite a few of these, and had to remake approx 50% of the ends because the electrical contact is not good. On some of the cables, there is no electrical connection according to my test meter.I also found it hard to get the individual wires to slide into the channels. One or more of them would get bent back because it didn't slide in. Once that happens the bent wire is slightly fatigued and won't push in at all. This means you need to re-trim and prepare the cable and try again.Yes, they are fairly cheap, but they are not reliable enough. One you calculate that you re-make (ie waste) 50% of them, and you burn a lot of time, they are not cheaper.I'm ordering some different ones and throwing half a bag of these out because they are just too frustrating to work with. And yes, I know what I am doing! I am an IT professional.

cheap but not always work
After crimping, I tried to plug them into various female connector adapters. Sometimes they make the click sound, meaning they were locked in place, other times they just don't want to do that click sound and it's very easy to unplug them. This means they can disconnect at any time. After some investigation, I believe the fin of the connector is too long (about half a millimeter) in the region where it should act as a blocking mechanism.I also tried to plug them into an Ethernet switch and there they did click (so they earn some stars).

OK but quality hit or miss
I got sick of paying stupid prices for pre-made cables and having to put of with oversized cables running about. So I decided to but a reel of CAT5e, a crimp tool and these some RJ45 connectorsThe insertion of the wires into the connector is a pain and separating them out takes a while use patience and a good diagram otherwise you'll be pulling your hair out wondering why you get lights but no data :-)The quality is a bit suspect with several being visibly broken and several more failing tests which admittedly could have been my handwork not being up to scratch. Still for the price I could afford to lose a couple.. but that not the issue, its the frustration you feel spending the time and then having to do it again. But with practice you get much quicker faster, and remember the wiring sequence.I ended up buying a cheap tester that connects to both ends of the cable, they are quite useful and help and easier to diagnose problems that just trying to test with a PC or other networked device.

Buy Connectors with Cable Guides
Confession : I've bought these - but I've not used any. Instead I also - later - bought RJ45 with plastic cable guides. These are small plastic units into which you fit the eight wires from a cat 5/e cable - side by side in the order required - BEFORE - sliding the cable guide into the connector. I found that extremely easy - and don't really know how I would have coped with these.So... your mileage may vary depending on your level of expertise and experience. I can't vouch for the quality in terms of cracking and fit - those opinions seem varied across other reviews.
