Hobart770276 Magnifying Helmet Lens, 200X

These lenses fit my Hobart welding helmets (2 of them) just fine and really help me see the tungsten and the weld puddle better. My aluminum welds got better when I could easily see what I am doing.

Helped see very fine points

After 15+ years of struggling with using reading glasses inside my welding helmet, this is the way to weld.I use bi-focal safety glasses inside the helmet so that when the helmet is up, I can see the objects for setup, and when the helmet is down, I can look through this magnifying glass insert and weld away!Easy to insert inside the helmet and perfectly clear.

Snapped into place in my Vulcan helmet just fine. Extra magnification does help. Good product and do recommend for those who might need this lens as opposed to wearing glasses under a welding helmet.

Huge help having this and not having to wear glasses. Would have gave it 5 star bad had to double sticky the lens on was to thick for it to fit inside the slot on my Hobart auto darkening hood.

This is my second lens. The first was a 1.75x. This one is not as good. For some reason, it's slightly smaller, so it wobbles in the helmet and can fall out. The magnification is fine, however.

These are extremely helpful as my helmet sits to high on my head for my bifocal glasses to see the weld properly. I started with the 200X which worked perfectly to compensate for my glasses but decided to go with the 250X to see even better on smaller welds.

Fits in an Antra auto darkening helmet. It works better for me than magnifying glasses.
