Great value and yet works well
It's fantastic value and even comes with the proper brass locking nuts. The previous generation devices had aluminium and would oxidise after a while and there was no way to take them off if that happened severely. Expensive problem. These are brass though on this model, and so I'm hoping there's no problems ahead. There's a cool retro quality voice notification on this device too, which I think is much better than the boring beep on my previous system.I have only one and a half criticisms:1. Backlit display brightness could be brighter for sunny days.2. Due to exposed position on the dashboard, strong sun exposure heats things up, which is not good for the battery life. A lighter colour or some kind of thermal hood would maybe protect the non solar cell part of the body without creating too much reflection risk in the windscreen? It's a challenge for the engineer for the next generation, but this device is amazing value, as it is.1 year on...The sensors are still working for me, but unfortunately, after not using the car much over the last few months on lockdown; the sensor caps have got stuck on the valves again. Unless they switch to a plastic thread; I think this will continue to be an issue. I'd definitely recommend adding a calendar reminder for 4-8 weeks repeating, to make sure you loosen and re-tighten the caps, even if your pressure has held ok, to prevent the caps from sticking on. I'm hoping the next generation of the design will change the cap thread to plastic. Something to look out for of buying a set of TPMS sensors again in the future.Another quick note. Often with these, I find there's one or two of the sensors which either come with a poor battery, or perhaps the difficulty of transmitting through the car body, wears the battery down and the sensor will stop working. This will look like the signal is still coming, bit no info is updating for that corner. I think the unit pretend that there's no problem, to avoid customers returning it straightaway 😂. Anyway, keep an eye out for the pressure and temperature not changing on one corner, when all the others are. It's a bit of a safety risk tbh, but spottable, so not too serious.

Nice unit, BUT....
Nice, compact unit looks good on top of dashboard, charges quite well, & despite what others say, I like the readout which I find quite clear and bright enough without being distracting. With all the warning beeps and bongs in modern cars, I thought a voice warning would be great. But like other reviews, I wish the voice warning were louder; unless you own a Bentley or a Rolls Royce, the voice is really too low to hear in a normal vehicle on a motorway or with the radio on.I have also found the accuracy of the readings to be suspect. On comparing and double checking with various hand held tyre pressure units, and the air pump at the filling station, I have found the readings under reported by 10KPA per tyre.So a tyre filled (and checked by other means) to 240KPA will show as 230KPA on the readout. Not sure if this is only on my unit and due to the readout unit or the tyre sensors under reporting. So I would not use this as an indication of the actual tyre pressure. But now I know about the variation, I have decided to keep the unit as a indicator to warn of anything unusual happening - keeping occasional eye on the readout, as I might miss any voice warnings..

Mostly fine but some issues
Edit Septembeer 2021.Having assumed the origional problem (sensor stuck reporting incorrect value) was a problem with origional unit and seeing that it had been upgraded i bought a new one in November 2020., It is now nearly a year later and all 4 sensors are stuck reporting a value regardless of if they are on the tyre or not meaning the whole system is useless. I have looked though the 8 english pages of the manual and there is no 'reset' option so i am now looking at a third tpms for my car in 2 years.Mostly it does what you want , giving you a remote way of telling your tyre pressures. However i have found 2 issues.1) The psi reported seems to be 2-3 psi below what my pump is reporting (as well as a garage air pump), not a major issue but it is there.Update - after several more months - the psi is reported low if below about 24 PSI but if above about 34 psi it is reported as 2-3 psi higher2) The solar panel doesnt seem to provide enough power to keep it running, after a week or so its dead and i have to charge from the power socket in my car via usbUpdate 3- One sensor is stuck on 29PSI regardless of actual pressure (even disconnected from tyre. Removeing the battery doesnt fix it meaning one of my tyres is no longer monitored limiting the use of this item.Except for that it does as advertised and i find it useful. (update) but only aas a very general guide

It lets you know when your tyre is below a certain pressure.
I fitted the sensors very easily and mounted the unit in clear view on the dashboard. It's fantastic value and even comes with the proper brass locking nuts. The previous generation devices had aluminium and would oxidise after a while and there was no way to take them off if that happened severely. Expensive problem. These are brass though on this model, and so I'm hoping there's no problems ahead. There's a cool retro quality voice notification on this device too, which I think is much better than the boring beep on my previous system.I fitted the sensors very easily and mounted the unit in clear view on the dashboard. I was carefull to thoroughly clean the plastic first as the dash had been treated with silicone so nothing would stick properly. What I liked most is the design, the data it provides of pressure and temperature (reliable) and that can be charged with sunlight and usb. It is small and fits well on the dashboard.
