It took a few tries to get it right.
My body shape is a tall (5’11) inverted triangle (I carry my weight topside) so it’s often hard to find corsets that fit properly. With this one I had to size up and cinch down mostly at the hips and waist while a little bit of cinch happened at the bust. My bust (44G) is larger than my waist and hips and I have large shoulders. I am so glad it has a zipper in the front but I still needed help cinching it. I don’t normally wear corsets as a rule, and this is for a costume for a ren faire. The material is gorgeous and well made. I like this one better than an underbust corset because it doesn’t call so much attention to the topside. I’m really not into putting the ladies on show either at the faire or in my average 9-5.BTW: This corset will make you sit up straight if you slouch. The bones in the corset make no bones about it.Size up if you are shaped like I am. Many corsets seem to be made for rectangle and hourglass shapes while the rest of the shapes have to adapt.

Good quality base corset, lots of color choices, easy to modify
This was bought about two years ago for a regularly used costume, so I needed something that I could put on and off easily, and was good enough quality to hold up to regular wear. This sounded good, for the most part, and has indeed held up very well. The dark purple is a lovely rich color and makes the smattering of crystals added really pop. I actually removed the plastic boning and replaced them with spiral steel, since I'm really not a fan of any plastic boning, especially in the outdoor Florida climate I needed it for. The difference between this brand and other cheaper ones I've tried is the quality of the rest of the corset. And for the price (I paid $70 for my size and color choice) it's definitely five stars. The stitching and the fabric are good, with a good lining and strong laces. A more cheaply made corset wouldn't have held up to having the pieces removed, but this was well done, the boning easy to access, and the fabric a good enough quality to re-stitch. I had a little trouble with the fit, but at the time I needed it sooner rather than later, and it fit well enough that I didn't want to risk waiting for a different size that might not work. I ordered a large, and on my 5'4", bust 40" frame it was a little bit long. This created a strange looseness at the top because the sweeheart outline sat in the wrong place. I'm hoping a medium will solve the problem, now that I have more time.EDIT: the medium did not solve the problem, as they are the same length. It was between 1.5 and 2 inches shorter around, which was just enough to make the modesty panel not cover on me, so it will be returned. I ordered it in wine, which was a little more in the purple range than I was hoping, especially since there is no other real red in this style, but still very much a wine color. Otherwise it was consistent with the quality of the purple one.The zipper is strong, and was extremely helpful when I had to change or use the bathroom. I lace firmly, but not *super* tightly, and I had no difficulty pulling the zip up and have no worries about it breaking. The only real con that wasn't related to possibly having the wrong size was this - we could tighten the laces in the center, with them looser at top and bottom, and it would fit beautifully, but after about half an hour of moving, the laces would shift and even themselves out. This might make it easier for people to relace the corset for *general* fit without help, but it was frustrating if to have it tightened in all the right places, only to have it undo itself. (And of course, if you took it off with the zipper, it would even out, but that's expected) If you wanted, you could always get shorter, separate sets of laces, one for the middle, two for top and bottom, or whatever configuration held the shape you needed.Overall, a well put together piece.

Beautifully constructed, but not the right fit for me.
This corset is beautifully constructed and made with a very soft and comfortable material. I actually tried two different sizes of This corset, a 5X that was as loose as a t-shirt when laced as tight as possible (would probably fit a plus size 30), and the 4X.This corset fit nearly perfect, however there were a few reasons why I returned it for a different corset.I wear a 24/26 with a 44G bra. The main concern I had with the 4X plastic boned corset is that the bust area was too big even laced as tight as possible. It allowed for my chest to move and even spill out when bending over, which is a huge issue because I bought this for use under a wedding gown. The flexibility of the boning prevented a good fit as well. The other issue is that I am 5'4" and this corset was a little too long.In the end, the fact that I have been losing weight, that it can't be laced tighter, and the issue with the plastic boning not supporting or providing structure, this item did not work for me.Instead, I purchased a satiny Daisy steel boned corset in a 3x, and would highly recommend trying one of those first if you have a similar size and concerns to me.

Order between measurements
The color is more gold than beige, making it the wrong color for my skin tone. I was pleased with the quality. I couldnt use it though bc it smashed the lower half of my breasts. It probably perfect for somebody with large implants or boobs that have met with the forces of gravity, but not my small Bs that have nursed 3 babies. This would also be fantastic for a Marie Antoinette dress era, but did not create the profile that I wanted. I ordered based on my chest, not my waistline, and this was a mistake. Even though the corset shrinks you by a couple or more inches, and I lace that sucker tight, I was still unable to get the back panel to cover. I would suggest ordering 1-3 inches below your waistline, depending on desired tightness.

The easiest corset . . .
I ordered this corset to wear under Halloween costumes. My kids are young and often ask me to wear princess costumes or something that requires a hoop skirt or pannier for Halloween. Since I can't afford coolsculpting or a tummy tuck right now, I'm going the corset route. According to the size chart, I was supposed to be a 3XL with waist circumference. It was huge on me so I easily exchanged it. I went for an XL instead and it works great. It's probably the easiest corset I have ever tried on. It is easy to loosen the cords, zip up, suck in, and tighten. This gives me a better shape and can't wait to wear it under something soon. I would say go more according to bust size because the waist you will be cinching in anyway. It will not push your breasts up much unless you have a lot to begin with, but I was more interested in giving my waist a better shape.

Fits great, but wish it was easier to get on
This fits like a dream, but I need help getting it on. The coverage panel in the back gets tangled and folded easily.
