Love this writing pad, the paper is thick and durable and the lines are raised nicely to help my 1st grade practice writing his numbers and letters. I use it for his homework assignments.

Perfect lines for practicing letters. I looked so many places around town for this before thinking of checking Amazon. This is exactly what I needed for my preschooler to practice her letters. When the pages are all used up, I will definitely purchasebit again.

I used these tablets in the early 70s through the 80s as a kindergarten teacher. When my 4-year old grandson wanted to write his name, I knew the importance of proper position and shapes. The two-colored lines and the dotted mid-line are helping him to make his letters correctly. He writes three line "stories" and is learning a few words

My son is in preschool, busy learning to write his letters. We have a space in the house for his art and writing supplies. This is a perfect addition. When he is inspired, he will write "letters" (literally) to his family members. Good fun, and encourages learning to have this stuff around. They can use it when they feel the urge to practice.

These tablets are perfect for beginning writers in 4K-K. The paper is thicker than most (not newsprint), and is very sturdy. It does not easily rip and has lines on both sides of the sheet for added value. It lays flat and does everything you could possibly want out of a tablet. I find it helpful to keep around for practice for my daughter, even though she has access to paper at school, the lines are such a great guide as she continues to learn to write.

Not any better than the dollar store stuff. Raised lines are not noticeable enough to make a difference. Thin and rups when erasing too hard.
