Ideal for model painting
These are very nice brushes, a lot nicer than I expected to be honest and especially at this price. They are well made, easy to hold and depending on the chosen media for painting, very easy to clean. I tend to use water based acrylics for my models and it's a relatively simple swish in cold water to clean the paint off.Good selection of brush sizes as well, so fine to broad detailing is achieved without fuss, the only thing missing from this collection is a suitable dry brush, but anyone who has been painting models for a while will have several already that they can use for that purpose. This is the second set of these that I've bought, not because they wear out quickly - they don't, but because sometimes I need to work with a couple different colours on a model, and constantly cleaning and switching can be a pain, so two brushes the same size works just fine for me, and saves time.I use Vallejo and Army Painter acrylics on models, and these brushes work beautifully with that medium. Of course, you need to keep an eye on what you are doing as the paint can dry quickly, especially if it's hot - and in summer especially this is a problem, so having a source of water nearby not just for cleaning the brushes helps to extend their life by preventing the paint from drying and warping the bristles. For this purpose I have a small plastic mixing palette with one of the small bowls about a third full of clean water to dip the brush in to keep the paint flowing and the brush soft.Clean the brushes in fresh cold water after use and make sure they are dry, and these will last a good long time. I've not had any hairs from these brushes falling out or sticking to the model while painting - unlike some other manufacturers I can't mention.Overall these are well made, with a thick, light plastic barrel, a nicely crimped chrome bit and a good tight end holding the bristles. These are well worth the price and are extremely useful for various painting needs.

Very fine paintbrushes for detail work
Bought these brushes for applying fine details in water colour painting. They are great for illustrative work and adding fine detail like whiskers, stamens on flowers, fine lines, highlights etc where a very fine brush is needed. Used for watercolour, washed carefully , shaped when wet and dried properly they should last very well..perhaps less so with the enamels and thinners model painters and ceramacists might use. The brushes seem well made, the handles of mine are a hard black plastic and the ferrules polished steel. The handles are smooth, well finished and sit nicely in the hand. The bristles a fine nylon, springy with good point. These brushes were very good quality for the price, well made and you'll get 3 of each in sizes 0,00 and 000 and they'll come with the little plastic brush protectors to place on your dry brushes to protect the point. Chinese, but the Chinese in general know how to craft good art brushes. They arrived quickly. Pleased.

Detailed brush set
Good brushes. Been using for a while with oil paints and still in good condition. Only gripe is the smallest are not as thin as I would like. I have bought same size elsewhere and they were a lot thinner.

Ideal for miniatures or model painting at a decent price.
As much as I would love to afford expensive Sable brushes I just can't justify it as a beginner painter (3 months into my journey), I've bought a few cheaper multi-packs but these have impressed me the most.I like that the handles are plastic so they won't suffer flaking, they are comfortable and easy to clean, the brushes mostly keep their shape if you loo after them and bristle shedding is rare. The 3 different sizes are just right for intricate detail work and touching up but they hold a surprising amount of paint if that's what you want. I painted the 2nd model with nothing but these brushes and the '0' size did the heavy lifting while the '00' & the '000' did the finer details. For the price I kind of treat them as a consumable/disposable but they last weeks if not months per brush.I will definitely be rebuying these as and when they are worn out.

Cheap and very good for detail painting
For the price I thought these would be junk but I was so wrong.GoodThese brushes go so well to a fine point even compared to £6-7 each army painter brushes, even when you can see you haven't cleaned the out properly. So at this price they are perfect for fine detail painting despite there many but minor down sides.BadThey may be cheap and you can tell, the 3 sizes overlap each other, I had to glue 1 back together after very little use (it still works fine), they feel cheap to use but that means its very light weight so not really bad, the main bad point like all cheap brushes they hold very little paint so you have to refresh it very often so they are no good for painting larger miniatures with large areas of the same colour but are great for the detail. Also the description says the handle are wooden but there plastic
