Super easy to install, fixed my dryer!If your dryer is acting normal, powers on, the sensor for the door is still in place, and you can push/rotate the barrel (with some resistance) but your dryer won’t begin a cycle, you might be dealing with a blown thermal fuse. If this sounds like you, order this piece and find a 10 minute YouTube video and you’ll have your dryer back up and running in now time!

Fixed old Kenmore 500 gas Dryer
Instead of throwing out a great 15+ year old dryer to overspend on a newer (lower quality) one, I fixed it for less than $5. Be sure to clean lint out of the machine in the back or these fuses blow. Gone are the days of affording new appliances at will. Learn how to fix them. Used a multi-meter to check continuity and it was an easy diagnosis. I may order a few of these.
