Carbon Arrow Practice Hunting Arrows with Removable Tips for Archery Compound & Recurve & Traditional Bow (Pack of 12)

Got the 2nd dozen for my son's new bow recently. These arrows are well built and well priced for practice arrows. The spine & weight of 28" arrows matches well with my #40 recurve bow. Feel solid and last many shooting sessions. Said that, these are not for light weight bows. My son's compound bow is currently set to 19 lbs. and these arrows (26") always stick up the heads (just a little) in the air regardless of arrow rest/nocking point settings. If you are looking for arrows for a kids' bow around #20, fiberglass arrows may be a better (and cheaper) option.FYI. You will need to spend some time to modify the arrows before 1st use though. Unscrew the arrow heads and put some putty around the threads to keep them in place. They have very little friction and easily unscrew. A tiny bit of putty can prevent the tip from rattling & loss.

There is much to like about these arrows. Removable tips and nocks. They fly as straight as an arrow. LOL. Had to go there. Just order them .

These carbon arrows are strong and lightweight with removable tips. The nocks are adjustable and they arrive on the arrows in the wrong position for a recurve bow, so that's the first thing to do after taking them out of the box.A problem with packing 12 arrows tightly in a small carton is that the vanes can get curled or bent. These vanes are not as useful in keeping the arrow on a straight path to the target because of the changed aerodynamics. In order to be as accurate as possible the vanes need to be straight, flat, and returned to the way they were before they were tightly packed, stored, and then shipped thousands of miles. Either that, or just get new vanes put on. I have put bent vanes back into shape by clamping on each vane, thus improving their performance, but I'm trying several other ways of doing this, fixing all 3 at the same time, and have also invested in a jig to glue new vanes in the correct positions. When this carbon arrow is aerodynamically balanced I get really tight groups, and I like this projectile a lot. Sometimes the only way to get the performance you want is to put in the extra work to make that happen.

Was upset the arrows feathers aren’t set to have the other color feather in the right spot, oh wait no one has cared for awhile. These are strong, I had to carefully remove it from the wood it was stuck into. I don’t want to buy local again, these are perfect, local arrows fall apart on the first shots with soft targets

My shipment was manufactured with the nocks rotated 90 degrees out of position. I was able to rotate them, but a novice would likely not know and create a safety issue.

They arrived OK. They are straight. They fly straight. I had to renock every single one. The cock vein was lined up with the wrong side of the nock of every arrow. Just like in that pic. I dunno about Durability I have only shot the whole dozen a few times.

Nice solid arrows. They come with field points on them and a baggy of extra nocks.
