Mens Hair Pomade, Firm Hold and Moderate Shine Pomade for Men, Water Based and Lightly Scented for Straight, Thick and Curly Hair, 3.5oz

I’ve been looking for a good pomade with firm hold and medium shine. This one fits that profile perfectly. It gives you the firm-hold control you need without turning your hair into a stiff helmet. It also has the perfect medium shine I am looking for. Not super shiny like gel, but shinier than matte for sure. Added bonus is that it smells good. I’ve tried everything from the American Crew line, as well as even Japanese imports like Gatsby. This one works best for me.

I have very fine, but full, hair. I wear a shorter faux hawk style haircut and this keeps up the front really well. I have tried American Crew Fiber and Creamo Fiber/Texture/Clay (whatever they call it) and I like this one loads better. I like how I don't have to make it pliable in my hands before applying, with American Crew Fiber and the other, you have to warm it up in your hands and then spread it which was kind of hard to do. It was also hard to wash off my hands. This pomade is more gel like in consistency, super easy to spread, not sticky, and easy to wash off. I choose to apply it dry hair. When I applied it to towel dried hair, it got a little crunchy like gel when it dried. It is not matte like the other two products I've mentioned, but honestly, the shine looks better than I thought it would and it adds a more textured look to my hair. It's not overly shiny in that my hair looks wet, but just right.I have tried the Hair Dough Clay too which is a very similar product, perhaps a slight bit more hold, though a bit more sticky. It is matte too instead of having minimal shine. I like it and kept it as my backup for a windy day.The scent is maybe just a tad manly, but not overpowering enough for me to care.

The smell of the gel is good, it holds your hair great and for a long time, the container is high quality and over this product is top quality.

I wanted to buy something other than Axe or Old Spice or anything I could get at a drug store. Not sure this is any better quality. It does the job and smells manly but the smell is pretty overwhelming.

Ok finally found the pomade I was looking for, I have been buying pomades for the last 2 years trying to find something good, I started with suavecito but then I just needed something better, then tried other and always there was something off, from not holding strong or the smell, but this one totally feels like a pomade and the smell is the best of them all, usually the pomades I have been getting they have that old person smell, and that’s way too bad, but this one have that spicy smell and just great over all. I’m happy with the pomade and this will be my daily pomade from now on.

Sometimes I like to be classy. Me and my girlfriend had a special night planned so I thought I would do something special and do my hair for her. By hair I mean the ones below the belt. My hair looked fantastic. Lots of volume. It was the 80s all over again. Once I got ready I started losing the volume under my pants. When the night was getting to the point where I needed to impress, I was extremely disappointed by the state of my hair. It was a disaster and rock hair. That wasn’t the part I needed hard. Somehow I overcame and we got hot and leave. Not only was my hair all messed up, this made my girlfriend burn down there too. Hurt her for a week! There should be some type of warning where you can and can’t put it.

Held my hair well. I liked using it. But, I only got about 15 uses out of the container. Container looked half full at best. At the same time I bought this, I bought the matte styling fiber from the same manufacturer. I'm still using that, months later. Very different amounts between the two different products. I would order this again only if there was some assurance I would get more for my money.

I've been churning through different gels, pastes, and puddys that would hold firm but not feel like 90's hair gel stick and this product has done just that. I have naturally curly hair this pomade keeps it under control and in-place without a sticky, hard, gel-like feel throughout the whole day. Great price and fast delivery too.
