Q: I have an 34 wide monitor 3440x1440 and i need to know does this adapter support that resolution or uhd at 60hz?

Yes! It will work. I use a LG 34 inch monitor on 3440x1440 with 4 devices without any problems. One advice: use good cables. I've had a little difficulty with cheaper cables.

Q: Will this work with a dual monitor 27" 2k setup? the monitors have both a dp in and dp out so daisy chaining is fine. will this work?

I think this is unclear - I myself get constant flickering when trying to daisy chain using this KVM and have been told by tech support that it is not supported. This is with the mini-DP version of the product.

yes, it's got two pairs of usb+mini displayport cable.

Q: Does this model do hotkey switching besides windows like a pi?

If he's asking what I think he's asking, KVM hotkey switching should work regardless of the OS on the computers. A modern KVM intercepts the hotkey sequence and does the switching on its own, independent of the OS. The StarTech model pictured looks modern enough to behave that way, but I can't tell from the description. Note: The StarTech KVM pictured has DisplayPort, not HDMI. If Stephen is planning to hang a Pi off it, he'll need an adapter.
