Cavalier: A Crimson Elite Novel

This book is one of my favorites. I also bought the audio book & Teddy as Creed just completes it. Good plot, good pace, good characters.

Creed Christopher meets Elicea Beckham at one bar just before she stands her ground, hitting a grabby customer with her tray and quitting! The next the thing he offers her a new job! At an exclusive club called Crimson Elite!Oh so dark and deliciously hot! This describes the story and Creed! Actually pretty much nearly all four of the men who own Crimson Elite. Intriguing characters one and all. I look forward to reading all of their stories, a little reminiscent of the Bratva Boys..another sensational lot of hot guys written about by this author.I have to admit Creed did annoy me at times however I think that was the intention of the author. His arrogance and cool attitude were attractive on the one hand but irritating on the other. For me Elicea’s character was instantly likeable and easy to relate to, with her basic needs laid out bare. I enjoyed her strength of character too and willingness to stand up to Creed. I love this thought she has about Creed’s mother-“...she is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met. How she created him, I’m not really sure.” 😂😂 Sums it up really!This book is easy to read due to it’s fast pace and solid storyline but it’s more. Creed is such a fascinating character and there is an element of darkness that compels you to read, just to see if there is any light!

Honestly, I really struggled with this book, and I was listening to the audiobook, which not even Teddy Hamilton could save (another reviewer said this as well, and I should’ve listened to them). The spicy scenes were cringeworthy, and it was literally insta-love. While this doesn’t always bother me in younger characters, it definitely bothers me in characters that come off as more mature and knowledgeable about the world; I feel like if the characters have several years of life experience under their belts, then insta-love is super unlikely and very unbelievable. I do not plan on reading any more books in the Crimson Elite series. The storyline got a 2 out of 5 star rating overall, and I gave one additional star for Teddy Hamilton’s audiobook performance, but not even he could save this storyline.Definitely spoilers if you keep reading for the last little bit of this review:⚠️⚠️⚠️There is an unexpected pregnancy in the last 20% or so that made me cringe so much, there was no lead-up to it, no discussion or foreshadowing for it to happen. It didn’t seem like something either character would’ve wanted in their lives until it happened, then it was basically rainbows and butterflies within a few pages.I do not write this as a scathing review, and I hope it doesn’t come off as such; it is just my personal feedback to the author and storyline from my own reading experience.

This book was so freakin wonderful! I mean it was sexy, sweet and such a fun book to read! Creed and Elicea have such a strong connection that it shows from the first time they meet. Sure the first time you meet him and the rest of the guys, you notice how freakin hot they all are. They are charming, successful and extremely all around sexy. These guys know how to run a business and never needed a woman until now. Elicea changes the game when she starts working for them. She is a great character She's sweet but determined. The only thing I would change is that she gets a new best friend. I wasn't crazy about her. She was pushy at times. Anyway back to the story. It flowed really well. I liked that it focused more on Creed and Elicea then the sex club part. I know that might seem weird but sometimes you don't need the kinky sex part. Yes they have chemistry in the bedroom. I mean he's charming in and out of the bedroom. I was hooked on this book from page 1. I stayed up way to late reading this book and it was all worth it! Let me tell you, this is a series I'm gonna keep reading for sure! I can't wait to read Echo's story next cause that boy has some hurt and pain.

Such a good book!

I just need to say this- T.L. Smiths books are like a tall drink of water on a hot summers day, the writing is perfect, the plot beautiful but it’s also dark so never forget to Check your trigger warnings! Although Creed did not become my new bookboyfriend, i really loved this book and i even cried happy and sad tears a few times. Also this book contains the worlds most wonderful mother in law, can i keep her?🥹

This is my first book by TL Smith and I have to say I loved it! Once I started it I didn't put it down until I finished.I thought Creed and Elicea were fabulous! She gave him as hard a time as he gave her.How their relationship developed through the story had me talking to them and laughing at some of their antics. And it's HOT!!! His coterie, Darcy, Echo and Falcon...yes, excellent, intriguing, humorous and shocking in turn.I've already bought Echo's story, Anguished, and am ready to get stuck in!

When T.L. Smith says she has a new series coming out you know that one of her leading men is going to steal your heart. The New Crimson Elite Series is absolutely no different in fact I was a little addicted to this book from the first chapter.Cavalier is Book 1 in the series and jam packed full of angst and suspense. These Elite boys are something else, they are a whole lot of suspense and sexy wrapped up in witty banter that will give you some laughable moments. Make no mistake though the boys of Crimson Elite are a force Not to be reckoned with.Book 1 follows the story of Creed “Too Hot For Words” Christopher and Elicea “F*cks With My Head” Beckham. Their story is addictive, fast paced and explosive AF. I love the storyline, the characters and the depth of their journey. This series will very quickly become a favourite and each book will be hotly anticipated.This is one of my fav new series and is a def must One Click.
