The hat fits perfectly and I love the wide brim; It'll keep the sun off which is what I wanted.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and especially the fit. I'm 49 and still, like to look cute when (if) possible but mostly this is for sunscreen. I didn't do my hair all pretty for the pics I wore it like I usually do when I'm outside doing yard work or going for a walk to exercise. So the hat may look a little askew but keep in mind my thick braid on one side.The brim is the perfect size to look cute, not too wide but wide enough to be a great sunscreen. I love my baseball caps but this covers your neck and ears nicely as well. It has some nice lines/curves. I bought two hats at the same time and I loved this style/fit better. (The other style was cute but I couldn’t get a weird little bend out of it that messed up the overall lines/look of it. I received an immediate refund. In fact, it came in a bag make to send back with ease so be careful opening your purchase when you get it just in case.) It fits snug even though I have a small head. It covers my head to my ears being deeper than I expected to my delight. Other reviews had me thinking it was just sitting on top of your head waiting to blow off. They probably have normal sized heads!I took several photos at slightly different angles to give you a real-life feel for the style. I didn’t change the angle of the hat on my head/readjust it, I just tilted my head differently. I hope you appreciate the effort I put into this review. Just putting out there what I wish was there for me when I was deciding. I have a weak chin so this will look much cuter on you! ;)

I am a natural blonde with fair skin that burns easily. I am also prone to sun poisoning. I wore this everyday on a 10 day beach vacation and it worked great. The wide brim provided good protection for face, neck, chest and shoulders along with SPF 70! I wore it in the water but was careful not to get it wet. Very happy with the look, fit and quality. Threw it in my suitcase and beach bag everyday and it never wrinkled. Would highly recommend.

This is the sun hat I had been searching for for years! It provides excellent protection and it actually looks good on me. Another big selling point is the pack-ability. I took it on a trip overseas and just folded it up and threw it in my backpack. I was worried that the shape wouldn’t come back, but it did. This hat is well worth the price.

This hat fit perfectly on me! I am 5’1”, 108lbs and usually hats run large on me, but not this one. I like that it isn’t made of stuff material either, because i am able to pack it without worrying that it will lose its shape or get damaged. This hat definitely saved my face from getting sunburn when i forgot my sunscreen. Love the fact that it is wide enough to cover my full face, neck and chest, and shoulders from the sun. I am very fair skinned and have rosacea, and this hat definitely keeps me protected.

Brim did not look like illustration. And no matter what I did, I could not get it to. Permanently bent as it was shipped.

I Purchase this hat for sun protection. And it serves it’s purpose. My only complaint is that the hat is very floppy. The photo had me thinking it would not droop as much as it does.

The sun protection is my first concern, of course, and this hat fills the bill. What I really love is how I can roll it up and put it in my tote bag, and have it come out looking great hours later. Lovely straw color, too -- perfect with my Light Summer coloring.

I was looking for a wide brimmed black hat to protect my face from the sun, as I have very fair, thin, dry, sensitive skin. Such hats are surprisingly difficult to find as all the cheap straw hats you can buy on the high street are full of little holes/gaps that let the light through - no good if you are serious about protecting yourself from ageing and burning! A major design flaw that makes them seem like a fashion item rather than a functional one. Yes I'd like a hat to look stylish, but also serve a function! Unfortunately this is just the same, lots of little gaps in the weave meaning it doesn't actually block the sun and so is useless. The brim also doesn't come out far enough to shade more than your forehead and eyes. I've purchased the widest brim option from Coolibar and it looks rather ridiculous, but does not have these gaps and the brim is wide enough to shade your entire face and neck! Other than that the quality and style are ok.

El sombrero tiene una excelente manufactura, se nota de calidad y vino sin defectos. El packaging no es ninguna viguería, pero tampoco lo necesita. Se trata de un sombrero imitación de la pamela playera de paja o papel con el ala extra grande, pero realmente de un tejido opaco muy flexible y resistente para proteger del sol.Se puede doblar y estrujar para guardarlo y enseguida recupera la forma. De hecho, era un regalo y lo tuve guardado en el paquete durante un mes, además de lo que tardó el envío. Al sacarlo, se podía utilizar inmediatamente.Es talla única y la copa es bastante ancha, por lo que pide a gritos una cuerda por dentro para ajustarlo o una cinta de tela o goma alrededor de la cabeza que ayude a apretar la copa. La mayoría de gente lo notarán muy suelto en la cabeza.Aún así, parece fresco y es muy bonito. Lo volvería a comprar, o bien uno parecido con ajuste.

Se trata de un sombrero de ala ancha, prácticamente una Pamela. Es moldeable pero mantiene la forma. Es del mismo tipo de tejido que tengo de esta misma marca, con el ala menos ancha y son súper duraderos. Se ajusta muy bien a la cabeza y protege genial del sol.Este estilo tan topo Pamela es mejor para la playa o la piscina. Para ir por la calle me parece un poco extra. Al menos, para mi estilo.Pero para el uso que le doy, estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.
