This is the best. LOVE it. I have 4.
I have tried many different ceramic and plastic water fountains. Cleaning has always been a major problem. I am an older person and carrying the heavy large ceramic fountains every week to clean was a problem. As well as finding expensive filters to replace every 2-4 weeks. I have 1 pit bull dog mix and 11 cats. This is the BEST. Love the larger size. Easy to clean less curves and dips. As pet owners know, cats have saliva that adheres to the fountain sides. I have now replaced all my fountains with this one. I have 4 of these through out my house, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. They are easy to clean. Less parts. Easy to see when water is low and needs filled. Because the sides are higher it doesn't get as much hair and debris from floor in it. Filters are easy to replace and purchase. But you can make your own also if you don't want to pay the cost. I have gone to pet store in the fish supply section and purchased a sheet of charcoal filter and a sheet of blue filter and cut to fit the filter. (if your pet store doesn't have I order mine on Amazon) It is a lot less expensive than ordering the specific filters. I suspect in future this fountain will not be available if the manufacture figures out you can do this.My daughter has 4 cats and she has switched hers. We have used these fountains for 2 years now. With no major problems.Only situation we have found is that one of the cats likes to put his paw into the water and drink from paw. If there is a glare or shadow he will play in the water. But he did that with all the others. This one is taller and has less surface area so he doesn't get his paw as wet since it isn't as deep as some of the ceramic fountains. With the larger open ceramic fountain he would empty the entire fountain on the floor. One other thing is that when you clean and reassemble, do not press down on the top fountain that the water comes out. (either the flower like part or the tray part which ever you decide to use. I use both) If you do it will get stuck and be very hard to get off to clean. I do not put that last part on the fountain until I have started fountain then I just place it on top gently.

Great product
Had this foundation for over 2 years now. Very impressive as I was skeptical at the beginning because reviews at the time said pump would burn out quickly. Well over 2 years and us running it dry more times than I can out. Still working great to this day

Took 40 Min to open the pump - No one mentions it comes with a cleaning kit
The reason I purchased this fountain is because the pump on my Catit Flower Fountain broke and even after registering the product Catit wanted $16 from me to replace it. So I said no, and spent an extra $10 on a brand new clear fountain. The first thing I do want to mention is that it was handed to me directly from the amazon delivery person. Literally no packaging what so ever. It was just the box, no tape, just a shipping label slapped on. This already made me very skeptical about the whole thing.Well, I opened the box, too everything out and unwrapped it. The pieces were in great condition. It came with an entire cleaning kit! 2 brushes one big one small and a sponge. No one mentions this! That was a lovely surprise! The flower top was a bit scratched and blurry, almost like someone had sandpapered it. Other than that everything seemed fine. The pump comes fully assembled threaded through the hole. The only difference between my fountain and the one in the video is there was no extra piece to cover the top of the wire before placing the top attachment of the fountain. They fixed that by already having it part of the top. Very smart.IT TOOK ME 35 MINUTES TO PRY OPEN THE PUMP. Oh My Gwad. Good freaking luck to anyone who doesn't have nails. I specifically bought this one because in the cleaning video it looked so easy to clean the pump. The lady just popped the top off and pulled out the insides and scrubbed. Welp, NO. It was not. I had to claw and dig my way in there, until finally I took a thin piece of cardboard and slid it in between the top and the bottom and pop it came off. OMG, I broke like 3 nails trying to get this thing off. Jezz. After I cleaned each piece (they all came out crystal clear, even the flower attachment), I dunked the filter in water for 10 min. I put a full water bottle on top of it because it does float. After 10 minutes I assembled the fountain. The pump takes a bit of a push to get it to suction to the tube. It also DOES NOT TOUCH the bottom of the tank. It floats a bit. If they are going to do this I wish they would just put a bigger pump in. Put a 300 L/H USB and make it pump just a tiny bit more powerful. Give it a taller spout, really let this fountain go, you clearly have the room at the bottom. Or it might just be a precaution so the pump doesn't get clogged? Maybe that's why the Catit pumps get clogged so easily, they actually need to be raised?I love the fountain because the top snaps on! While you are walking to place the fountain down there is no way to spill it! The water is safely contained in the bottom portion, almost like a Tupperware container. Unlike Catit where the top slips and slides and by the time I get to the mat the water has spilled everywhere. So, no water anywhere until you plug it in.I tried the waterfall attachments, super quiet. I than tried the flower. It sounded like a babbling brook or one of those rock fountains you can pick up at home depot. Very noticeable. But when I have the AC running, step 4 feet away, or the TV you can barely hear it.The cats seem to like it, I can't really tell if they are drinking out of it. I did pop the top off of the flower attachment to let water pour out of the top because one of my cats enjoys drinking water from the top of the Catit flower so it mimics that.I will update after the first month when I have to try and pull this thing apart and let you know how easy it really is to clean. But all in all its very large and I love that its clear and the water pumps real fast.
