Q: Product dimension showed 9.2 x 5.2 x 1.9 inches, hard to believe this is correct. Can anybody please tell me the exterior dimension?

The exterior dimension is 4-3/4 in. (12 cm) H x 3-1/4 in. (8.3 cm) W x 1-1/2 in. (3.8 cm) D

Q: can you mount this on a door?

You can mount it on a door if you can do so securely. I would not recommend mounting it on a hollow core door. A metal door maybe. It would be best to mount it on the door facing. It works out well there for me.

Q: How do you get this out of plastic package? Yes, I am serious.

Just cut around the circle as marked in the back. You'll be able to see the place where the two plastic zip ties meet. You can cut through these with a sharp blade. Once that's cut you'll be able to remove the Master Lock from the plastic packaging. Good luck!

Q: Can numbers be used more than once in a combinatio? For example, could my combination be 3531?

Amazon has this question incorrectly shared with model 5401D combination lock. On the PUSH button lock you cannot use the same number twice. On the combination lock you can choose from 0 to 9 on each of the dials so 3531 would work fine. I have one of these and am buying a second one for a garage lockbox. I like this version over the push button exactly because of the flexibility of the combination.
