Discovery Girls' Middle School Survival Guide Book Set

I bought these for my 12 year old daughter, who, when asked, refers to them as " cool" :). I browsed through them and they are full of practical advice written in a girl friendly manner... perfect for mother daughter conversation starters too! Scan the book, pick a topic, read, then "what do you think"? Brings up topic in a nonconfrontational manner, because you are discussing a book, not her, see? :)

Got these some time ago (1-2 years?) at the start of my ASD girl middle school. She's now a 7th grader and recently "found" them in her room. She's now reading them and she has told me she is really enjoying them and finds them helpful. (not a common comment from her).

My teen daughter (who is on the spectrum) loves the Discovery Girls' magazine and the books are a huge hit as well. I'm also a fan - they provide excellent advice on various situations and are a great tool for tweens, teens & parents. Highly recommended!

Birthday gift for my 11 year old daughter - she has already read them all numerous times! They are perfect for this age bracket and it shows her there are lots of girls going through the same things that she is, and some ideas on what to do or how to handle certain situations

Theses are terrific books for girls entering middle school. My daughter loves them. I would definitely recommend them. We also get the monthly magazine which is expensive ( you only get 6 per year). but my daughter loves it!

My 12 yo daughter loves Discovery Girls Magazine - these books were advertised in their magazine...she reads them, helps her get other girls' perspective on the same issues or problems she is dealing with in Middle School.

My daughter love the books it shows them how to handle the reel world.
