Exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this cooktop about three years ago. I have been happy with it for the price. Bought it because the size, the portability suited my tiny kitchen and the efficiency and safety of it suited my personal concerns about electric cooktops. It is cheap but very functional. It does the magic of induction cooking really well. The fans have gotten a little louder as time passed, but it all was well until today, when nothing works but for one button. Totally out of the blue. If it is just a fluke, I will report back, but if it is the result of a very efficiently built in obsolescence, I do not like it. There was no expiration date marked on the package! Even at this price, it should not be considered a disposable item.

I have a cooktop induction Berghoff ( purchased 200 canadian dollars ) for 7 years, but since a year just one burner works, and also it makes lots of noise...The EURODIB and the BERGhoff look exactly the same products, except that the design of the EURODIB is nicer and seem more solid constructed...Hopefully it is effectively better, because i have the Berghoff for 7 years and one burner still works...WE'll see !!!

I've been using this full time for 2 years. I always keep paper towels on the burners (yes, even when I cook) It looks new and clean as the day I brought it home. Wipes clean with countertop spray. You never really need to use the full power setting of 5, but it's there if you want it. I never use my range top anymore. The eurodib heats almost immediately. The only thing I recommend is if you're boiling a pot of water, start with warm water, as it's a bit slow to heat a full pot, but then so does a range. For the price, I'd replace it tomorrow. I love it. I cook with cast iron and stainless steel.
