The reviews say this blanket is pretty small. I'm buying for a chest-40 inch and height 5.3 foot. Will this fit loosely or very snug?

I'm 5'11 and it fits me fine from my neck to my feet. The blanket is 5'9" x 3'9"

Would this fit a woman who generally wears med-large shirts? 41" to wrap around her?

I wear the same sizes and this fits perfectly

Well, the one I got does have a hood. It does not look anything like the snuggie pictured. It's still cool, but not what I wanted. It was a hit with my husband, though.

How many pounds does it fit? Is it good for someone 250 pounds?

I don't see why not it easily fits a 200 lb person with plenty of room. So I would say yes.
