Does the job, but...
I'd like to say first that I truly appreciate that the cuff is soft and stretchy, which makes the transition well, unlike a lot of expensive sox I've tried that have cuffs that roll and tighten into something so uncomfortable they cannot be worn. Plus they always caused a muffin-top at the knee and make the wearer look absolutely grotesque. The differences in the weave are helpful for areas that swell more than others and I do not mind that the texture leaves temporary "impressions" on the skin after they're taken off. I bought these for my husband who is new to compression stockings and he rejected the L/XL size so I tried them on, liked them, and kept them for myself. I have lymphatic edema. Bought him another set in XL/XXL. And here is the only disappointment I have in these sox. There doesn't seem to be any difference in the width of the sox between these two sizes. It's just that the foot is longer. He didn't really need that.. I have to put the sox on him and they are difficult to pull on across his wide toes since I don't have that much strength in my hands. So he wears both sizes now alternatively, as he likes that there are fewer wrinkles to smooth out on the L/XL size. All pairs became less tight after they were washed a couple times, so all are comfortable now, width-wise. So far they don't seem to have a tendency to rip when they are stretched over the toe and as yet I haven't poked a hole in the heels with my thumb trying to get them over his wide heel. I have to be careful because I have arthritis in my wrists and a bad shoulder. So far, considering that they ARE compression sox and thus ARE hard to get on, I am more satisfied with them than I have been with anything else I've tried over the last 10 years. The price is not ridiculous like I have seen for some brands that were a total waste of money, anyway, because of the tight band below the knee. If the people who make compression sox had to wear them there might be fewer torture sox out there.

Good socks, good compression, great looking, well made!
I don't know if this is fair, but TBH, I always read the 1-star reviews first. I guess I want to know the worst that people think about a product that I'm considering buying. Even though these socks have a lot of reviews, and have a high rating, there were enough 1-star reviews to give me pause.Ultimately, though, my desire for the colors and the economy of these socks won out, and I purchased them. I'm happy to say that I have not had ANY of the issues discussed in the one star ratings, particularly fit and quality. These socks are nice and thick (relatively average sport-sock thickness) and I did not have any problems with them unraveling, not being properly stitched, etc., they fit well (I'm a man with relatively strong/muscled calves so I bought the 3X) and though I'm no expert on compression, they seem to provide about the same amount of compression as the compression hose I was given after my knee replacement surgery. They DO NOT go above the knee, but that's perfect for me and not what I was wanting or expecting anyway. They also stayed up all day, even when moving around, doing physical therapy, etc. It does remain to be seen how long they last, but that's a bridge I'll cross when I come to it. If I remember I'll update this review in the future. My only comment, which is NOT a knock on these socks in particular, but all socks, is that my cat's claws can pull threads out, and velcro tends to "fray" them as well, so some caution should probably be taken with that.

Pretty Good
The product arrived and appeared as pictured. The blue color does have a little green in it, but that's fine with me. Both the red and blue colored pairs have white fabric at the heels and toes (I couldn't tell for sure from the pictures because they're against a white background). When I first tried them on they seemed quite snug through the upper calf, and unlike other compression hose I have, these ones do not (for me anyway) provide any compression through the lower calf and ankle. However, I have not noticed excess swelling from this in the several weeks since I bought them.I can't seem to find any washing instructions for than, so I've been machine washing them on cold and hanging them to dry, and this doesn't seem to be causing any shrinkage. So, while I wish, ideally, for a little more compression through the lower calf and ankle, I find them to be effective for me and a good value for the amount paid (3 pr / about $16).

comfy! right out of the package
I am 5'4", around 125 lbs, ordered s/m (I would prefer they offer S, M, L but oh well). I was skeptical because I have a history with compression hose that goes back 25 years. Family inherited not so good venous system...however, all that being said. These socks felt great the moment I put them on. Do I think they are the whole 20-30 compression? no. But as I am athletic, playing pickleball 4-5 x week for at least two hours if not 5-6 hours each time, the exercise helps with venous flow. for those who are more sedentary, these may not provide enough support. What I like also is that being only 5'4", I do NOT need socks that come up over my knee! I tried the 'charmking' and they were wayy too long. I returned them. These socks come up to that place right above my calf muscle and below the curve of the back of my knee. Perfect. I bought the set of three, white, black, and blue. I am wearing the white. Could update this review when I try on all three but like I said, right out of the box, comfortable, fairly easy to pull on, great fit and they look good! I also, even though I don't think these are true 20-30 compression, feel good support. These might be my new 'go-to' for my athletic compression socks!

Wonderful compression socks!!
These sock are the best compression socks I have ever wore!! I am on my feet for 10+ hours a day, and on concrete. When I do not wear these socks my feet and legs let me know. Easy to put on. I wash them without fabric softener and hang them to dry. They last 2 to 3 years!!
