A well priced gaming headset with good build qualty and excellent sound
The initial impressions from the unboxing were good, like a lot of high-end tech products, the packaging was pretty and felt high-end.The build quality of these headphones is excellent, they feel solid in your hands and there is no inappropriate rattling or bending - another feature that adds to the overall quality of the product, especially when in use.The sound in this pair is excellent, outputting crisp and clear audio - enabling me to pick up on subtle and quiet audio cues in games like PUBG. They'll also be ideal for other games like CSGO, Dota, LOL, COD etc. They perform well in casual music listening and what they lack in bass capabilities they definitely make up for in clarity. The memory-foam cushions are very comfortable, in a six hour continuous session they did not cause any discomfort at all - an important feature in gaming headphones. The memory foam also effectively seals the headphone cavity from ambient noise, whether from a nearby road or people talking in the same room. The microphone is good quality, crisp clear - and could likely transfer well to a streaming set up (I am not one so this is a guess). Also the detachable feature the microphone goes a long way to reducing how cumbersome the headphones are, as I've always found headset mics irritating when i dont have use of them.Overall, it's a great pair of cross platform gaming headphones at a competitive price, with sound, build quality and the microphone being the stand out features.

Does the job and looks good doing it!
TLDR-SUMMARY:For the price, as an All-in-one, it's great.Fantastic build quality for price, metal hinges so will last you a long while. Microphone sounds ok, nothing to shout about, but is removable which is great if you want to wear the headset in public when you're listening to music. Sound quality is decent, clear vocals but bass is a bit lacking in my opinion. They look stylish also, meaning you won't feel all that silly wearing these outside of your gaming cave.Extended review below.Build Quality:Compared to the two Krakens(~£70) I have, I'm very impressed with the build quality of these for the price. The plastic on the earcups doesn't feel as cheap and I much prefer the cushioning on the headband as well. The Earcups are nice and plush, and I don't notice the headset on my head as much as I did with the Razer's when I first got them (They really clamp hard until you wear them in). It's certainly comfortable, and I definitely appreciate the metal hinges that connect the cup to the band. I have broken far too many plastic ones, including more expensive Denons.. just don't use plastic on moving parts people!Portability wise however, they're a bit bulky, as with most gaming headsets I've noticed. It would be nice to see something like the metal hinge design from Sennheisers DJ HD8's on gaming headsets to make packing them into your travels a lot easier. It's a positive for me on this front!Sound Quality:(my ears are tainted by audiophile headphone tastes). For The price, sounds good enough to enjoy gaming for long sessions I suppose.I felt the Bass was underwhelming compared to Razer Krakens (~£70) and to sennheiser's DJ HD8's(~£250) but the vocal clarity was better than the Krakens. In Gaming and listening to music it was easier to distinguish voices on the React than the muddy sound the Krakens produce. I would be happy using these for social and competitive gaming sessions where I'd be using voice comms if I didn't have a separate microphone.. or for on the go. I wouldn't be entirely impressed using these for music. However, if it's the case that you can only afford one pair of headphones it does at least grant you that opportunity to listen to music on the go unlike usb gaming headsets. There are better sounding headphones in this price category by Sennheiser or Bose if that's all you care about, but you have to consider these have additional features.I think they do the job here, nothing to shout about.Microphone:It doesn't impress the people I'm on calls with on discord. It does the job better than web cameras that cost more than this headphone at least. (Logitech Brio 4K looking at you here). The Kraken doesn't sound all great either to be honest, and I've been spoiled by Blue microphones usb products for too long to be able to appreciate these. You're not going to get fantastic audio out of any gaming headset microphone but as long as it doesn't cause complaints that's all that matters. I have used it for work calls and gaming sessions, and the only complaints I've had are from people who were used to what I sounded like on my Blue Yeti, which with the shock mount and pop filter and arm amounts to 5 times the price of the headset, it's a given it would sound better. The bonus I really like however is that the microphone is detachable. This is great for a number of reasons, one being portability, but two, if it's broken, which I have had microphones break on multiple headsets in the past, then it would be easily replaceable without having to replace the whole thing. For an all in one it sounds good enough, and doesn't hurt your gaming colleagues ears, so no complaints there. I wouldn't go starting your voice acting career with it though.Style:It looks good. Much better than a kraken in my opinion as it's not as wide off of the head. I think for any fnatic fan or fan of good looking gaming headsets this is a nice option. For people who aren't crazy about RGB either it's nice to see a headset that isn't following the trend. Without the microphone in it's not too weird to be out on the street with either, although I'd prefer a black out version on the logo decals: I see why they did it though so that it's more visible on stage with their pro teams.

Still the best 2 years later
I find this headset comfortable with and without wearing my glasses. The sound quality is crystal clear and crisp. The range is fantastic both low and high end. On multiplayer games, PC, Xbox and PS5 I get compliments on how clear my voice sounds. I have recently purchased a HyperX Cloud III for my daughter. I tested this newer headset alongide side my Fnatic headset and found that I preferred the sound from this unit. Highly recommended.

Big performance for a small price tag
Have to say these are actually one of the best headsets I've owned. Sound is crisp and clear and excellent for FPS games like Call of Duty. I've had astros and turtle beaches over the years but value for money these are hard to beat. Mic quality is second to none as well really clear and little to no background noise gets picked up. These are also very comfortable with glasses, seen some reviews to say the clamp was a little tight but didnt have that problem myself. 5* headset for sure nothing fancy just a good quality headset for a decent price.
