FabricationIF-4000 Interferential Therapy Unit

I have a lot of back issues and had one segment fused about a month ago. I had an old INF device that I really liked that was similar to this except it has a timer built in. Unfortunately it quit working. This one provides about the same stimulation but it does not have a built in timer. It also requires a lot of current to run it so it eats batteries. The 9v AC adaptor and regular alkaline batteries do not have enough power to run it much past the middle of the output settings. The low battery light would come on with the higher settings (much past 6, range is 0 to 10) I ordered a set of Pallus 9v Rechargeable Batteries, 4-Pack 850mAh 9 Volt Li-ion Batteries with 9V Battery Charger and they work great with it. It works on max output and no low battery light. They last about 2 hours per charge in this device.Other comments:It gets warm when it's running and the metal receptacle for the AC adaptor gets really hot.It eats batteries but this has been the case with every INF/Tens device I've ever had.I does provide some relief and I don't have to go the the Physical Therapist for treatment.Surgeon approved use soon after surgery and said it would aid healing.

I live with pain everyday from an accident. My neck is a mess. I can barely turn my head to see a car coming when changing lanes while driving. I have a tens unit I bought on Amazon and I thought that was amazing till my friend said she uses this unit. She bought it from her physical therapist and it gives her siatic relief. So I searched Amazon for that unit and found it!!! I paid $350 less than she did! Let me tell you this is better than my tens unit!!!Hubby was out working in the yard came in complaining he was stiff and his back hurt so I put it on his back and his back pain went away. My neck doesn’t hurt as much and I am so glad I found this thing. I don’t know how it works differently from my tens unit but it does it goes deeper in the tissue.I was working out and my lower back was feeling it from all those dead lifts so I put this on my back and wow no more pain. It’s not a cure all but it sure comes close. Well worth the money and much better than my tens unit.I am visiting my sister who has a bad back and letting her try it. She has a daughter who under went spinal surgery from scoliosis and I am trying to get her to see how great this is so she can buy it for her and her daughters chronic pain. I mean her spine was in the shape of an S and this very invasive surgery straightened it but she still has pain. I am hoping it will help her too. I have no regrets buying this unit!

Love this for my back and neck. Sit all day and this keeps me going

I've had mine for over a month, and I have had somewhat decent results.My biggest concern is, the unit they use at my PT, when it's running, I can feel the stimulus varying and changing between the 4 electrode patches. This one, doesn't do that.Of course, the manual doesn't go into too much details, but I'm just curious.Other than that, it seems to kinda do what is advertised.Word to the wise, make sure you turn it off before you remove any patches... :)Okay, 2 months out. The unit seems to have lost it's "zing". Definitely does not put out the same voltage as it was when new. New, I could barely handle above a "5". Now, "8" just barely makes a tickle...I would probably send it back for a refund, but of course it's pas the return window.Oh well...

When this product works it’s so great! Sadly after 6 months mine died and I couldn’t get a replacement or refund. That is a bummer. :(I would for sure replaced it and not gotten a refund.

i like the product its mighty and powerful and provides good pain relief. however the unit gets dangerously HOT with a 9V battery. i mean soo HOT you will NOT be able to touch the battery to remove it. AND THIS IS WITH THE UNIT SHUT OFF!!! idk what happens, the battery is in correctly. i mean it get soo HOT that i could catch on fire. i tried to work through amazon customer service but didnt get very far. just want to contact the seller to discuss and possibly get a replacement.

Not strong enough but still portable and a valuable tool for healing and pain relief. Comes with a battery and a belt clip. I'm buying a more powerful one, but this one still has merits, especially if you buy a conductive garment to connect the electrodes to 😎

Units not as powerful as my other units I’ve had over the years. It also came with a dead battery.
