Pretty cool
Got it for my 4 year old with autism who is obsessed with tornadoes. Some reviews were complaining about it being loud, but mine is silent. Took off a star because the top part is the rocket isn't bonded well. The top part popped off after about 2 days and it looks like it's held together by hot glue. I'm going to have to super glue it to keep it on to avoid meltdowns. Depending on how rough your child is, I don't know how many falls this thing could survive. The tornado lasts long enough and the colors are really pretty. If you get a good one that is quiet, it could be a good nightlight as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My daughter is autistic and her special interest is tornadoes. She absolutely loves this light. Just take it out of the box and plug it up and it's ready to spin and change colors. Great buy!

Too noisy, not calming. Agitating!
It’s noisy. I only had it on for about 30 seconds before I turned it off and put it back in the thoughts because the noise is annoying especially for a sensory calming item. The immediate sound was a huge turn off before I even got to the visual. It is not calming and has a bad design.

Magnet at the bottom doesnt work at times.
I bought this for my brother for Christmas since i know he LOVES tornadoes and is going to school to become a meteorologist. The box came a little bit torn apart, the top part was broken so i had to put a random cardboard piece so i could wrap it.Now for the product. There’s a little spinning piece that sticks to a magnet at the bottom which is what makes the tornado. I don’t know if it’s supposed to come apart? It works sometimes and stays in place after a couple of tries but we would like it if it just didn't come apart at all. My brother likes it anyways but it’s just a bit disappointing having to try and try again for the tornado to actually form. May ask for an exchange if that’s not how it’s supposed to be.
