Rectangluar Gate Wall Protector

I bought some gates to keep my pooch off the new hardwood floors and had to install one between my stairs and a wall. These wall protectors look nice and protect the wall well. More important, they made mounting the gate in the curve of the banister possible. These have been in place for a couple months, are very stable and are performing well. It was helpful to have a second person available when installing on a pressure mouted gate. Great product!

These work well and provide protection. Love them!

This seems to work okay but the hole in the front of it is misleading because it doesn’t go through the back of the hard plastic part that goes against the wall. It adds a tiny bit of length and bracing to the gate but it’s not as secure as I had hoped it would be. If you bump very hard into it the gate will still fall down. Overall if you are not able to screw something into your wall this will add a little bit of extra security to hold a baby gate up but I definitely wouldn’t rely on it near stairs or for a strong dog or toddler. At least it was fairly cheap and extremely easy to “install.”

The gate stays stable as advertised. The gate no longer moves like it did with the pads provided.

These pet gate wall cup protectors do provide sturdiness to the gate that was absent before. I had no desire to drill holes in the woodwork to employ the cups that the gate manufacturers supplied. The cups give a little more support to the pressure spindles on which these gates rely and prevent marks being made in the door frame. I bought a set of the black and a set of the white. I am happy that both colors seem to match the gate they support. I was able to install them (and the gate) without help in about 10 minutes with patience.

If you have doorway gates inside of your home, replace the factory ones with these.

They’re okay but seem to slip on the wall more than I was led to believe.
