Replacement Remotes for LiftMaster 890max Mini Key Chain Garage Door Opener 893MAX 2 Pack

I received 2 key chain remotes - as advertised. I work at a company, so changing the code on the garage door was not an option. The items came with real directions (understandable, NOT Google Translated from a foreign language - you know Chinese). I followed the directions (which requires paying attention to some details) and the remotes worked on the first try. So, I don't know what these other people (giving negative reviews) are talking about. The only reason I can think of for why their remotes didn't work was because they exceeded the TOTAL number of remotes their garage door is capable of learning - which is not this company's fault.

This is the second set of these that I’ve purchased. Love them! They’re a little fragile (don’t drop it!) and the programming is a little quirky but really do like these.

They are indeed cheaper than many other brands that are similar to this one. The materials on this one definitely are cheaper than the more expensive versions.These have a hard time controlling the garage door opener once the door is in motion. Most door openers will let you stop the door from moving and reverse the motion. With this one, you mostly have to wait until the door finishes opening/closing before pressing the button again. On a rare occasion it will stop and control the door once it is already moving, but not very often.Unlike the more expensive brands, this one will not allow us to program different buttons for different models of garage door opener. Once you program it for one model, it will lose anything programmed for another model on a different button. So having 3 buttons is useless in our case.UPDATE:-------------------It loses programming frequently. Really not worth the money.

Update : I contact seller directly after 2nd try when the replacement came and Julio from RemoteDeals clarified that there's an software update coming in 2 weeks so I'll send those openers back to get the upgrade. Good customer service is what RemoteDeals impressed me . I upgrade the stars and will do again when the openers work in full force.**********Like : program very quick and easy .Dislike : after program the 2nd button on the remote with my 2nd garage door , the 1st button is not working anymore with the other garage door.It supposed to work up to 3 different garage doors with 3 buttons on the remote , as I read the ad .Replacement is processed very fast so I await for it and will update when I receive them and try again.

I've got a Raynor Corporal II garage opener. Programming took not even 2 mins, just programmed under Liftmaster garage door. Then onto getting the remote to learn, took another 2 mins, just one press of the learn button and one press of the remote button each time. Easy peasy.

These are great, paid the same as one of the chamberlain remotes cost.To enter programming mode you hold down button two and three until it flashes red.One flash is for purple, two flashes it's for red/orange, three flashes is for yellow, four flashes is for green.For example my garage door opener has a green program button so I pressed the green program button on my garage door motor and I held buttons 2 and 3 down until I got them to flash I waited until I got four red flashes then I pressed button one which is the button I wanted to be programmed. I heard a click come from my garage door motor meaning it had learned the remote so I proceeded to press button one again to see if it would open my garage door and it did.Im writing these instructions down here in case I need them in the future, since I needed to reprogram these remotes after a year and I couldn't remember how to do it, and hopefully it helps someone else.

I live at a building with two different garage door motor types. One has a purple learn button, the other one is a yellow learn button. I got this remote with the hopes of controlling both motors with a single remote. Although this remote CAN be configured to open either of the motors and works well for that, it CANNOT be programmed to have one button open a yellow learn button motor and another button open a purple learn button motor. I thought maybe it was going to be smart enough to change the transmit mode based on the button, or maybe have two different radios, unfortunately, it seems once you choose the learn button color (aka radio mode) then the entire remote (all buttons) go to that mode. I could not get this remote to simultaneously mimic two different learn button types (frequencies). Bummer! Otherwise, built quality is average and setup was easy.

First button program was flawless. Other 2 buttons would NOT program on identical Second garage door.Both remotes had same programming issue.Better off with a higher quality mini remote.Small size is great.
