Beautifully illustrated and it starts off strong...I'd been searching for a suitable age appropriate story book with beautiful illustrations for my toddler with a vegan message for a while. So I was super excited when I saw this one as the illustrations are lovely and it had great reviews. However I am a little disappointed sadly. It starts off really well, but I think perhaps it needed an editor to fine tune it. It's overly wordy on many pages and is hard to follow. It would be fantastic if it was just edited a bit more cleanly. It has a lovely message throughout the book portraying the main character as a vegan superhero looking after animals which is very sweet, and definitely much more gentle way to communicate with young vegans the reason why we chose to live this way.

Beautiful pictures, great message. Only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, is that there is a few pages in the middle that just seem off topic. When it's on the topic it's subtle and elegant. But when it talks of sneaking out of school to save the animals. Wish they had written a different way to go about it is all. But overall great to add to collection and my kids love it

With Veganism being such a hot issue, it was good to have an accessible book that both my daughter and I could read and learn from. We are non-vegan, but this book certainly makes you think about choices to make and also making a child aware at a young age. Lovely illustrations to support the book too.

I bought this book for when my granddaughter is 3. We are already a vegan family. This lovely, quirky story explains how a little one can learn to love, to care for, and be kind to other species. I don't think our beautiful planet can survive unless we all live in a vegan, cruelty-free world. It's not too much to ask, is it? Thank you for promoting veganism to the little people.

This is a beautifully conceived and sensitively constructed story about a subject that is difficult for many to think about, let alone discuss. The text is delightful, and the illustrations are a joy. Definitely recommended!!!

I bought this for my daughter who’s seven, and she loves it. It’s a great little book, teaching children (and adults) that kindness is a ‘superpower.’ The world needs more of that and the children this is aimed at will benefit from it the most... along with the animals we share the planet with.Looking forward to the next one. x

An awesome book with adorable illustrations! Plus, you get a cute sticker with it. I hope my son will feel the same way about it.

What a fantastic book, really well written and illustrated and my 10 & 6 year old simply love it! The school teachers name always gets a giggle too ❤️ It’s got a poignant message but isn’t too harsh for young ages. Really recommend!
