To small to see
I was disappointed in these labels for a number of reasons.Cons1. There was no exact measurement of these labels except in the questions and that was incorrect. Several answers said 1.5” x .5”. In actuality the letters are 1/16th less then 1/4” for capitals, and 1/8 for small letters. Many labels are indeed .5” tall but that is because there are two rows of writing.2. The white labels are on a light yellow paper, and extremely hard to see, they should be on a dark paper. You probably wouldn’t see the black labels on black paper, but I guess the manufacturer didn’t notice that the white blends in so it is not clear on light paper.3. Quite a few labels of common spices are missing, Rosemary leaves, whole cloves, savory has one label, no summer or winter, cinnamon sticks are missing, there is lots of different peppers but no Chipotle powder, or turmeric, for just a few.4 there are tons of names that must be regional or brand names that I never heard of, so the real number of useful labels for me is about 40.5. This is supposed to be spice names, but there is baking powder, cheese powder, cocoa powder, Pumpkin seeds, which are baking items not spices6. There is a lack of continuity in some naming. Anise comes as Anise, and Anise ground, so you would think you would look under A for Anise Star, but no it is under S for star anise.7. The small label size is very difficult to see.8. There are blank labels, but the vast majority of them are 1/2”x1/4” the same size as Dill. There is only 1 double row blank label in the black labels, can’t really see the white blank labels.Pros1, script is nice if it was bigger.

Nice quality and thickness
I couldn't decide whether I was going to like white or black labels so I got both for a dollar more than just one. If anybody cares I found the white one easier to read against the background of dark herb and spices. I suspect the opposite would be true for the larger labels the company sells for things like pasta, rice, sugar, flour, etc.The labels are a nice quality and the available names are pretty comprehensive. The thickness and adhesive makes them seem like they will hold up well. I did have an issue with the backing tearing with the label on a few of them but because of the thickness it was easy enough to separate them with a thin blade. I applied them to the tops of round metal magnetic tins with clear tops. There was ample room.

COULD BE A BIT LARGER
Yep, the font could be a bit larger, like a couple of sizes .... but the most difficult is the background paper for the white labels ....most most MOST DIFFICULT TO REad white lettering on a yellow-tan background ....otherwise sure helped me organize the spice drawers

NO MATTER HOW PICKY YOU ARE YOU WILL FIND THOSE LABELS TO FIT YOUR NEEDS.
I am picky, I confess. I like things that are perfect, great quality, great design, great looks, and whereform fuses with function in everything I buy. If I buy it, it has to be cute, has to be beautiful, has to work! Those labels are amazing. Not only the makers designed them with every even the most demanding cookwho uses God only knows how rare spices but the labels are also designed in few different formatsand they look just amazing on jars.Easy to read.Clean design.Great selection to choose fromAll spice names you can think of.. are there! Try and find one that is not. I tried. I failed.Truly wonderful set. I am very happy with it. My jars got a new life and now it is more funto use them. I t hink I actually ended up using my spices more often :)

works I guess
A little difficult to find some of the labels as they are printed weird "Salt Black" instead of "Black Salt" for example. Print starts to wear off after a few months of use. Overall, 4 stars

Variety
All of my spice names were included plus many more. I actually thought there would be 484 different spice names but there are 242 spice names in black print and 242 spice names in white print for a total of 484 plus some blanks. I wish the font was a tad bit bigger and bolder. After applying the black labels I decided to add a white label to the dark colored spices to make it easier to read. Overall I'm happy with my labels and would purchase again.

Disappointed
I love the print and the clarity, the size was perfect for my project The only problem it advertises black on clear tape and white on clear tape and you don't get any black ones you only get the white ones. Twice I ordered these still no joy.
