Great toy! Got these on my grandson when he was very young. He is now eight and is still his favorite toy.

Bought this for my 2 yr old for Christmas and she has a blast making different things. I just ordered the 120 pc set and 2 extra mag stick n stack boards bcz the 32 pc one is just not enough to share with her mom. She uses her Lego men to put in the houses and buildings (she came up with that one all on her own) so make sure if you purchase these mags that you get some little men to go with it or go for the big set which include 2 little yellow men. As my daughter says go big or go home- ok so she may have heard me say that but now repeats it.. Some ppl say that the magnets aren't as strong and I have no other brand to compare it to, but these are cheaper with more pcs then the more expensive and I haven't come across any issues with things falling apart only if she doesn't purposely. There were some repelling on the mag board around the edges but still doesn't hinder building what she wants. Since getting these she has been able to put the word pyramid, cube with a 3-D object and how many sides that object has. She has found that 2 long triangles do make a square and 2 squares make a rectangle etc. Hrs and hrs of fun. I initially purchased the smaller set bcz I didn't want to invest in this if she wasn't going to play with it. I don't think anyone will have to worry about that as young or old finds this great entertainment.

I am a preschool teacher and my students love these. I was gifted with a big box of Shape Mags a while back and wanted to expand on our collection. Considering I can never put them away because they are always being played with is huge. I do not have a single toy in my classroom that is as well loved as Shape Mags. And, considering they are fought over by 14 3 year olds on the daily, I am happy to report that my original set has held up for over a year now. Which is why I am back, buying an expansion pack. Depending on the size my my class this coming year, I may be back for more.I find that Shape Mags are just as good, if not better, than the other magnetic blocks available out there. They are a good size, have a strong magnetic hold and can withstand being hurdled across the room by a frustrated mini engineer. This specific set had good pieces for adding to a larger set. Not that you can't build some pretty cool stuff with just this set alone, it just helps to have more so you can go bigger.And yes, I do find myself playing with them quite often. And I am also floored by the thinking process that my students use when building with these. They seem pretty straight forward, but I am pleasantly surprised by the different ways they explore with them. Shape Mags are a must have for any age.

Best toy investment of all time! We've had these for over three years now and my kids (now ages 3 and 5) play with them almost every day. They're easy to use, easy to clean up, and so fun! It is the #1 toy I recommend to other parents because our kids never tire of it and they hold up to constant use! If you're thinking about it, just get them!

I bought these for our two year old daughter and they have been a huge hit. I'm impressed by the quality-we don't have any other magnetic shapes to compare these to but I can't imagine a way to make them better than these. This set included a nice variety of shapes (my daughter especially loves the window and door ones) that can be used in many ways. It came with a good number of pieces for one kid and I think adding another set would make it even more fun, especially when playing with other kids. Our daughter enjoys stacking them up or making a cube and putting little things inside-it is a great way to occupy her at a restaurant. Our much older neighbors came over to play and immediately grabbed these and started building so I can tell this is something she will use for years to come. This set would be perfect to give as a gift. I highly recommend this product for kids of many ages. It is a great beginning set and we will definitely be ordering more!

This is the third set we've bought. All 5 of my kids (ages 16 mo - 7 yrs, boys and girls) love these things because there's always something to build. If you can imagine it you can build it, then knock it over and build something new. The shapes aren't small so there's no risk of my younger kids choking on little pieces, so this is a toy we can have all over the living room floor and play with as a family. I love that my older kids stay interested by making more complicated builds, and at the same time my younger kids can easily make their own builds. I love the bright colors and shape variety. These pieces are also pretty sturdy, and don't break easily. The kids can be a bit rough banging shapes together, but we've only had a few chip. Very pleased with this set, and highly recommend.

I have 4 children ages 3-10. I am bummed I waited to purchase this play activity! I didn’t think the price would be worth it, and we had a plethora of Legos and Lincoln Logs, so I figured the building world was taken care of. In a curious, weak moment during a sale, I bought ShapeMags about 2 years ago. Our creative play & building time has increased tremendously! We have since added to our collection to have plenty for all of our kids to play together! All ages enjoy them!ShapeMags have a durable construction. We have not had a single one break! The way they are put together is ingenious. There aren’t any rivots which could pop open allowing the magnets to fall out- so I trust them for small children to play with. And if you already have that kind (magnatiles), these are compatible, so you can grow your collection with a safer option!

Fantastic with postage, couldn't believe how quickly they arrived. These are a xmas present for my son but look great.
