So far they have been great, I have plantar fasciitis, high arches and heel spurs, and I have no pain at the end of a 10 hour day. They are not cheap, but for my feet they are worth it. They fit well in the shoes as well.

I have worn the Powerstep insole for many years in my work boots. If you are on concrete all day that rigid plastic arch support helps keep your feet going all day. They are durable and hold up to daily use in work boots. I highly recommend them.

Why purchased: I partially tore my Achilles tendon over the summer and was in extreme pain and discomfort whenever I would stand or walk. I was instructed by my doctor to only wear tennis shoes and try to remain seated for as long as possible. In the summer with a job at a golf course, the tennis shoes task was easy to accomplish but being a bartender and pool attendee, it was very difficult, if not impossible, to stay off my feet. I prolonged my recovery process by months from continuing to work. Once classes started I was walking even more, darting around a large campus to reach my classes on time. Now with a part time job in real estate, I can’t wear tennis shoes daily. I refused to buy shoe insoles at first because I almost felt like an ‘old person’ by needing them. I was a broke college kid so I refused to quit my job and struggled for months with increased swelling on my Achilles and even more discomfort from my activity level. My mother had developed bone spurs during this time and was in extreme pain as well. Once removed, her doctor started to wean her back into her daily activities by doing half the time wearing tennis shoes and the other half her regular nice shoes with these insoles and her life changed! I was then convinced that I needed these to monitor my pain, so I started to research and was pleasantly surprised at the cost of these insoles. Experience: I first put the insoles in my extremely uncomfortable black ‘booties.’ When I first slipped my foot into the boot I felt so much relief. These boots typically feel like I am stepping on cheap wood and now it felt like a magical gummy bear was under my soles and I was floating on clouds. I wore these same shoes for about 4 hours, walking around downtown, dancing, and standing constantly. I was ecstatic with my experience of these insoles because it felt like I was wearing tennis shoes the whole time. When I got home I did not feel the need to rip off my shoes and soak them in an ice bath, but to simply go to bed like a normal person! Negatives: The only drawbacks that I have found of these insoles are that they do not work with all types of shoes. I have a few pointed toe shoes that they don’t fit perfectly into, unless I were to cut the insoles and leave them for that specific shoe. My feet are also an in-between size, so depending on the brand, my shoe size differs. Because of this, my insoles might not fit perfectly into each shoe. Considering the price and the relief I feel, I don’t have any other complaints. Since wearing these insoles, I have decreased pain and swelling in my Achilles. I would recommend these to any person who have any foot or leg issue or people who put style before comfort in their footwear.

So far so good. I can definitely feel the arch support, but it hasn’t done much to ease the pain in my sciatic nerve. They seem pretty durable, and they just slide right in your shoes.

Worked great. I can walk now with no pain. Good quality. Easy to insert.

Works well, after trying many other insoles. Gives support to arch, heel does not move. Wear 13 wide brooks adrenaline, ordered 14-15 wide, original model. Would buy again.

Update to review I since ordered a size up 10-10.5 women's and trimmed about an 1/8" off the side and they fit perfect in my double-h boots. After a few hours my right foot was in excruciating pain. I took the insoles out and noticed the heel cup on the right is lower, the outside inner of the foot has a bump 3mm high right where my outer foot joint sits and the insoles are a different thickness! Also the bottom of the left insole looks worn out. However, the left felt perfect.... I don't know if AMAZON is selling knockoffs or what? My husband has 5 perfect pair and my Powerstep hikers are flawless.... ‐---------------- Powerstep insoles are far superior compared to many other popular name brands. I have used and use the hiker and my husband the pulse with great success in our mountaineering boots and slippers. I bought the original Women's 9 - 9.5 to use in my 8.5 double-h cowgirl boots. These insoles fit right in and provide great support (I have flat low volume feet). The arch was higher than I expected for a low arch. The insoles are too short so my toes have the edge digging in my feet constantly. This is not an issue with my hiker insoles from powerstep. Perhaps someone bought, cut and returned these? For now I'm using double sided tape to keep them slid more forward in my boots so I overhang the heel instead of the toe area. If I between sizes, I recommend sizing up if this is their new sizing! The insoles measure 9 3/4" long from in the heel cup to the end. My feet with socks measure 10" with my favorite socks and am a size 8.5 - 9 women's

Great quality insert! Use in several pairs of shoes for fitness and regular wear. Provide relief for pronation and last a long time!

I have used these Powerstep insoles for over four years now. Before this I had recurrent problems with plantar fasciitis. At times this was so painful it was like standing on a nail and having to limp home. These insoles cured it for me. After the first set, I bought a few more over the years and now use them in all my footwear. You can move them easily from one set of shoes to another but I found it easier to leave them in my most used footwear. I even use them in my running shoes as a replacement for the ones provided. They may be expensive, mainly because of import charges from the US I expect, but they certainly last. The ones I have for over four years are still good, though as expected the cloth has worn a bit. Not a problem with comfort though. They are also quite thin so do not push your foot up much towards the top of the shoe. Being full sized they do not slip about. Now whilst they are perfect for me, I guess that they will not suit everybody. After all, people's feet are different so they may push in the wrong place. I have tried other insoles as some were cheaper, but some were quite painful and unusable.

My wife and I have purchased several of these years. They are very comfortable, supportive, and last for years. I highly recommend them.

Is this meant for a yeti? Having to cut these down means it's hit & miss if one gets it right - or not. What a stupid idea. Not to e recommended but for the superior DIY'er or perhaps someone with access to an old fashioned cobbler. And the month's delivery AND the extra charges ended up with me paying double the price advertised. Very unsatisfied.
