12 Ami Solid Basic Fold-Over Stretch Midi Short Skirt - Made in USA

I love my maxi skirts because of the overall comfort, flattery of my curves, and ability to dress up or down. As a result of being currently 15 weeks pregnant, comfort is high on my new wardrobe priority list, so I got very excited when I saw this particular skirt for several reasons. (For reference purposes, I ordered a Large.)1. The length....is perfect for warmer days when I want to wear something other than shorts but don't want to potentially overheat in a longer skirt. I'm about 4'10 to 5'1 in height, and even with my growing belly, it still hits my knees.2. The color of the actual skirt is almost identical to the picture. For all the nitpickers out there, there may be some difference in color, depending on your screen color and your vision. I, however, love the color because it's the soft, pastel pink that I wanted.3. The material is very light, exactly how a maxi skirt should be. I wear slips under all my maxi skirts, simply because a lighter material usually means a see-through material. So don't complain about having to wear a slip under a maxi skirt.4. The stretch is very good for a maxi skirt. I haven't washed it, so I can't attest to the post-wash wear.There is only one obvious con to the skirt, though. The size is most definitely not true to fit. I read several reviews that encouraged to order a size up. I would honestly order two sizes up if not pregnant and three sizes up if you're expecting. When I first opened up the package, I thought the seller had sent me a small. It fits well now, but I won't be able to wear it later in the pregnancy. However, I will be able to wear it after the pregnancy.I will be most definitely be ordering a couple more to wear later in my pregnancy. Overall, this is a very good skirt for the price, and I recommend it for any lady wanting a cute but shorter skirt for the summer.

I really love the breezy and flowy nature of this skirt. The fabric is on the thin side, but not overly so for my taste. I also love the design with the fold-over too.Having said all that, the color was way off. I ordered the Jade and while the picture shows more of a light green almost blue shade what I got was a much darker green (more so than the picture I posted shows). I still love the color and will probably keep it, but I cannot use it for what I intended now. I also noticed looking at other similar skirts on Amazon the picture for the Jade ones looks a lot more like what I got. Maybe this listing simply has an out of date picture?Overall, a very nice skirt for a good price, just not the color I was hoping for/expecting.

I ordered several different rayon mid length skirts from different brands and this is the only one I kept. It's nice and flowy. The material is light and airy so it feels cool and lets the breeze through, but not so thin as to be sheer in bright light. The cut falls well on my somewhat curvy figure, and the color is as pictured - a lovely, vibrant teal. I removed one star for the price - I paid $18, and I think it's really a $12 skirt at most (you can get a comparable, thicker material skirt from old navy for about $12 in the summer time); but I don't regret the purchase. I'd buy every color if the price was a little better.

Nice skirt. I ordered 2 as there were differing opinions on sizing here. I am 5'6" and wear a size 10. The medium fit just fine. The Large was fine, but didn't feel snug enough for me. When wearing the medium unrolled, it hits just below my knee. Can pull the shirt down some more if you need a little more length. Overall, for the price, it's a good deal! I ordered the black skirt. Does not seem too thin. Feels nice and light and cool on hot summer day.

Wore this skirt for multiple days in Central America.It takes up little space. I kept it in my carryon to change into after our flights and it took very little space.It never looked wrinkled.Water that dripped on it dried quickly.The skirt is flowy enough to allow a breeze to cool off your legs. It is also flowy enough to fly up in gusty winds; I mooned a lagoon during a photo op on a mountain ridge!I also wore the skirt to keep me modest during a roadside bio-break. I managed to squat next to our van, scooch down my drawers to my knees, and keep the skirt held like a curtain around my nethers while I relieved my bladder. To me, that's high praise for a travel skirt!I got the charcoal grey, which was not see-through at all. A lighter color might be, so be sure to order it in enough time to test it.I wear 8 in dresses, 10 in pants. I ordered the large and it fit comfortably loose without being in danger of falling off. I could probably have gotten the medium; it would have been more snug on my waist.I am 5'11" and this skirt fell at my knee without being too short when I sat (a rarity for my height).

I really wanted to love this skirt. It is lightweight, comfortable, and does not dig into my waist. However, I do not want everyone to be able to tell what color under garments I am wearing and with this skirt, it’s very obvious. I had bought this skirt to tie dye in a project with my daughter. I am concerned even with tie dye, there will still be too much white space. Based on other reviews, I may return and try a different color. It sounds like darker colors may work better. I have also debated dying the skirt a darker color. The skirt itself is very nice, it’s too bad the white is so see through.Fast shipping, nicely packaged. Would buy again.
