I saw the reviews for these baseplates while I was looking for Magnatile sets. I hadn't even known that they were an option, but they were highly reviewed, and according to various reviewers, were compatible with Magnatiles. I bought them to go with some other Magnatile sets I was buying for my grandson. They seemed very nice (well made and sturdy) and were put to use almost immediately.The children seemed happy with them.

I bought this set for my 5.5yo and 2yo girls for Christmas. They have played with it every day since we opened them! They seem sturdy and are easy for both girls to manipulate and build with. There is a good variety of pieces and shapes. My girls also really liked the window pieces because they kind of looked liked the ones on Sesame Street. ;). This is a great first set and these blocks are perfect for my beginning builders (with a lot of room to grow with the kids). Highly recommend!

I have been trying to order this product as a single for months. Whenever I ordered I always received a different magnet product...and not the base. Finally when I saw the double pack I took a chance and ordered and was so happy to receive the correct product....so I ordered again....one set for 2 granddaughters...2nd setter 2 grandsons....keeps them busy for hours along with their 100 piece magnet set. And they are only 1, 2, 3 and 4 years old.

Great addition to a starter set! Highly recommended for stable foundations. I bought these after I bought a 160 starter set without them. Our creations collapsed easier. Highly recommend getting two at a time, they cost a little less. The best creative toy since Tinker Toy. Keep away from electronics, cell phones & pace makers...these contain a lot of magnets.

The magnetic bases are an important start to Picasso (or other) magnetic tiles for building. Our library features the tiles on a special table. It's amazing how 2-3 year old toddlers become absorbed in them and stay fascinated for a good long time. Bought the set for my grand-daughter and it astounds me what she can create at and stay engaged with for at least twenty minutes at a time. She is just 2 years old. Adults like working with them too!

I ordered 2 storage bucket of tiles for my grandson's 8th birthday so that he had enough tiles to share with his 12 yr old sister. They are already Lego building experts. I ordered the set of 2 bases even after reading the reviews telling that each stablizer needed to be separately, that is, the sides will not connect to each. It did not matter to my 2 grandchildren as they each had their own storage bucket of Mag-Tiles A great toy accessory to add to an already GREAT building toy.

I bought the 12x12 tile for my 12 year old niece who plays with magnatiles often. She mentioned this tile has extra plastic around the edges so she is only able to build by stacking and cannot connect any other tiles to the sides. I’m assuming her original 12x12 tile could side connect.

Best purchase completes the sentence. Allows for a variety of new buildings to be made. Also makes it easy to move the blocks to another area.
