I have some of KANSAS' EARLY works ( 3 copies of song for america). So why keep buying. I love the box sets.there portable,incredibly affordable. But Kansas has been on my toP 5 most influential bands we go long way back. There has been personal modifications, the death of Robbie left all the Kansas fans with a hollow feeling but their back with a finely crafted band.The early works has some of the best Prog-rock to learn their growing rate with some extraordinary. Talent. Just starting out? Or a lifetime fan this is some of there best work.............Donnie P

So worth it!!! This set doesn’t have the song lyrics and somehow doesn’t list the albums in chronological order on the package.But apart from that it’s great stuff. If you don’t already know, Kansas’ first 5 albums are all fabulous from top to bottom. And that’s what this set includes. Kansas, Song for America, Masque. Leftoverture and Point of Know Return are all classic albums that hold up great.The remastered mix is great. There is a bonus track or two for each original album, Including some extended live versions of some songs that I’ve never heard before.If you want to read the lyrics or check notes, you have to use a phone or some other device. But it’s nice to have such classic Kansas albums on CDs which should last. They’re also easy to load onto a computer. And at about 23 buck for the whole thing, it’s cheaper than buying the albums online where one wouldn’t have the CD backups.

The first 5 albums in a boxes no bigger than 1 regular case. Great sound, great packaging

Unlike other selections in this series, here we get Kansas' first 5 studio albums which obviously translates into their very best work. There is consistency (the band's growth, the same lineup throughout, clear developing curve), there is the absolute best of stunning Kerry Livgren's songwriting and lyrics. This is any collector's grasp of the first (best) stage of their career or, just as well, a perfect introduction into Kansas for a newcomer. Highly recommended to enjoy / admire the band and save it from oblivion. Also, these are remastered records (fine audio quality; sensational bass guitar sound, especially on Song For America) with (non-essential) bonus tracks. One minor reservation is that covers reproduce the original editions - as a result, bonus tracks are not mentioned but there are there. Text on the covers are hardly legible anyway as they replicate large vinyl releases.

Ceux qui aiment la très grande qualité musicale et la virtuosité ne peuvent passer à côté d'un groupe comme Kansas.Ce coffret ne réuni que des albums de hautes volées, pour résumer c'est tout simplement de la magnifique musique.
