From the beginning it was really hard to turn use this can opener. It felt like I had to have a superman grip just to get it to cut through a can. After a few uses, now the gears just slip and I can barely get it to work at all. It's nearly impossible to use. I'm writing this before I start shopping for a different can opener. This one is very low quality.

This can opener works very well, although they are not as heavy duty as I was expecting. But, they do open cans well, and the quality is good.

Item arrived without damage. The item is not durable however works well when functioning. The item works reliably. I may be have to learn how to operate the item properly so the item gives more durable use time. So I admit my use may not be the best in a durable way. I am will seek to learn how to use the Kitchen Aid can opener product in a more durable way.

These were not even a year old when they stopped working (sounds ridiculous I know). They were always sort of wonky and took a bit to get used to in order to make them function properly, but these are no not usable, rusted out, and literally do not work at all--the little mechanisms do not spin against each other. Disappointing :(

Work really well. Easy clean

If you're okay with a manual can opener, this is a good one to have. One reason I like manual ones is that I like to open a can almost all the way, but leave a small portion of the top uncut so I can pour the liquid out without losing any of the contents, like peas. Avoids needing a colander. You can't easily do that kind of precise can opening with an electric. Anyway this one feels really nice in your hand, slightly weighty...ergonomically designed I guess is the proper buzz phrase. And the gearing is nice which reduces the number of turns it takes to use. Definitely recommend... The price isn't much more than the "cheap" ones.

These are cheap. I could buy something better at the dollar store honestly. It’s hard to open a can, don’t stay in place, and it’s hard to rotate the handle.

We have had this for just over a month and it no longer works! It was never great but does not work at all anymore!
