I ordered this item in search of the holy grail for indoor grilling. The idea is very tempting but the result disappoints. It grills, but just slightly, and smokeless it aint exactly. With the lid on it becomes a sort of oven.Of course it all depends with what you compare it to (it grills beter than a microwave oven...). But a decent grilling pan or oven with grilling features would be a better investment in my opinion.So I give 5 stars for the idea, but one for the result.

Doesn't work well without a good exhaust fan , without one you are gonna smoke yourself out of your home , also it didn't set very well on my old gas stove , sits better on my new one but I still have to use 2 fans to direct the smoke out of the house

This product is amazing to cook thing on that!!! My BBQ is terrific on that because I can control the temperature and mainly as I am living in an small apartment I can do it many times that I want! Another good thing is to cook pizza on that, because it is fast, delicious, and easy to do. I recommend it strongly!!

Well there's certainly a lot of smoke. But the flavors come out well, and it is like barbeque. Just make sure you have plenty of ventilation.

Does not come with ring needed to use on electric stove
