I bought two of these levels, so I could compare the reading at two different places on an object and make the angles the same. I stacked both levels on top of each other, one read 0.00, the other read 0.09. I looked at the instructions included, and they did have a calibrate function. This does not work, and then I looked at the website, downloaded the current instructions, and found they had omitted any type of calibrate instructions. So, I think I will have to split the difference on readings, or ignore the Hundreth's digit when using. just wanted to let folks know , so they don't expect to be able to make two read the same thing.

I have always used a traditional level for all my construction projects. This digital level makes so many applications so much easier. No more eye balling of making things approximately level or plumb. This gives you great precision when you need it. It has different modes so you can get an instant reading of not only angle degrees, but pitch (inches rise per foot) and slope (percent) without having to calculate using geometry. A neat feature is the relative angle measurement where you can take the angle of one component and duplicate it on another component. This comes in handy when doing home rehab where door frames are not exactly plumb and you need to make it to look plumb relative to other parts of a room. True level is not always possible in home rehab so you need to make it look level. This tool makes it easy.

Level worked as advertised when I first received it. I stored it on my workbench and tried to use it after about 8 weeks. The level would not power on so I checked the two CR3032 batteries and the voltage had dropped to about 2.9 volts. I put fresh batteries in and turned it on and the display would flash and a hum was coming from the level. I removed the batteries and checked them and they were good. Reinserted them and the same thing happened again. There must be some kind of loose connection or short in the electronics or the program is corrupt. Not sure what went wrong or why the original batteries were slightly depleted when the most I had used the device was less than an hour. The item was not dropped or abused in any way.

Extremely valuable in my trade as a welder. The angles are easy to read. It has several different measurements on it and it has a useful hold button so if I needed to I can hold the measurement and write it down or take it over to another area. Clear screen and super bright. Durable fro drops. Soft aluminum body does get dented easily so if it has to be perfectly flat don't drop it. Otherwise will need buy others for home

no magnet- and it was suppose to be strong magnet

I used this mainly to measure pipe sloped in a trench. I could reach down, set the level, lock the read and voila. I could make sure my pipe was sloped at a minimum of 1%. Came in very handy and saved me a ton of effort to measure slope. Loved it! It got dirty, muddy and still worked just fine. Will be a handy tool for many projects.
