Pridefend Rubber Combat Butt Pad, Non-Slip Recoil Pad for 6 Position Stock

This AR-15 recoil pad will fit your standard milspec six position adjustable stock. Fit and finish on the recoil pad is exceptional !!! It's made of a soft but very durable rubber. Fitting it to the stock is quick and simple. Once it is on the stock it stays on nice and tight with a thick rubberized lip that holds and locks it on the stock. ( see photos ) This is very functional and usable for every day use. We all know that the AR-15 doesn't have much recoil. The true benefit to this recoil pad is being able to set your rifle down and lean it up against and or next to something and not worrying about it slipping from under it self ... down the wall or whatever you have it leaning against because of the hard plastic mil-spec buttstock. The other cool thing about this recoil pad is it has The 2nd Amendment stamped on it. There's two other configurations one says ... Come and Take It ... and the other has just a nice texturing on the end. All three come in Black. I would definitely buy this again and I would definitely recommend it.

The Pridefend rubber butt pad looks great, made of good quality. The problem I have is that it fits the AR stock very tight and snug down at the bottom. But slips right on the top too loosely, and slips off just as easily. I don’t think it’ll ever stay on while at the range. I don’t want to waste time putting it back on every few minutes. Too bad, I like the product but don’t think I want to deal with it.

Fits perfectly on the but of my magpul standard adjustable stock. While 556/223 does not produce a lot of recoil on its own, this pad is still nice to have. It really eliminated the "bite" or "kick" that your shoulder experiences as a result of the recoil. I have a similar pad from them on my 12ga and I love it as well!It fits great, looks good, and provides quality padding...what more could you ask for!

Not a very good shock absorb design. Also the writing on it can barely be seen as opposed to what they show. Overall it fits and is good and snug on the butt of my AR556 ( PSA) so not knocking rating down too far . It does absorb the recoil ok but do not fit up tight to it as it is a stiffer recoil. I think once I get used to it I will like it more.UPDATE: 11/14/21:I need to change to 4 star. 1 star still knocked off for the writing comment but upon more range time and taking it off and back on I realize the recoil absorb is pretty darn good. Now to assess this correctly like my commander told me you have to shoot about 6 to 8 rounds fast to truely get the feel and he was correct.
