Rating Criteria is as follows. If the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc.My wife and I sit through a fair amount of high school sports, and sitting on plastic or metal bleachers is very uncomfortable. We searched around quite a bit and finally decided to buy these. We are so happy with them; they have made a world of difference. Without these, we would be fidgeting and getting up to stand alongside the wall or something on a regular basis, but these make it possible to watch the entire event without shifting around or getting up or even thinking that you are uncomfortable.Pro:These are very sturdy. Neither me nor my wife are very large, I'm six feet 160 lbs and my wife is 5'6". So from a comfort perspective, these fit us perfectly and I imagine they could accommodate someone who is quite a bit larger. There is an upper limit, I'm sure, before the seat would just be too narrow but neither one of us is close to near that limit.Similarly, the chair is not going to deform from even rough usage from either of us. Sitting down quickly, or accidentally falling down onto the chair heavily hasn't done any damage. The seat back remains firm. No wobbles or squeaks.As far as comfort, which is the primary reason we bought them, they are perfect. You forget that you are on a bleacher and can just concentrate on the sport.These are not "lightweight" but they are not heavy. I think if weight were your primary concern, as far as packing these back and forth to the venue, then just be aware that these have a steel frame, not aluminum or titanium. Switching to a lighter frame would either sacrifice strength or increase cost. For us the weight was not a concern and I think most people will be fine with the weight.Con:The only "con" I can list is that although there is a hook on this, it only works on a certain type of bleacher, not the ones that are most common (as far as I have seen). Basically, if you are sitting on a bleacher that doesn't look like a wooden plank for the seat, the hook won't do you much good.You can see I gave this five stars so didn't deduct points for that, but I've seen other stadium seats listed where they explicitly tell you that their hooks require the "plank" bleachers. I think its generally on the consumer to understand the product, and the ad copy doesn't rely upon the presence of that hook to make the sale so I didn't hold that against them.Further food for thought, if I had to purchase seats again I would at least consider getting ones with armrests. I didn't think of it before ordering these and don't know if I would like them, but its just something to think about.Conclusion:There are no functionality problems; durability over our first season has been great; quality seems great; no flaws have become evident, and my only concerns are related to my own personal use and changing understanding of how I might use a similar product.If you are searching for these, you'll see that there is a wide range of prices for stadium seats. We were tempted to buy cheaper ones, and are glad we chose these. If you are OK with the hook system and don't want armrests, I am confident saying you will not find a better quality stadium seat no matter what you pay. This is just perfect for what it is. You may get lucky and find similar quality cheaper (I doubt it), but you won't find BETTER quality at higher prices. This is a great product.

We are 66 & 70 and attend grands sporting events & we both have back issues which caused such pain sitting on hard metal bleachers. These stadium seats are lightweight to carry but very sturdy. The seat is padded and there’s a stabilizing strap to hook over metal bleachers if needed. We are 180 and 225 lb and these work perfectly. Highly recommend!!

I have no ass so this helps me feel more comfortable at my daughter’s basketball games! This seat is a Game changer!

These seats are awesome!!took them to daughter's swim meet and sat in them for 6 hours!!well worth the money!no back ache.....as for the reviews saying they are heavy.....they are not really. They are sturdy and well made and have a carrying handle....no big deal I'm small I only weigh 115 and I carried them both in with no problem plus a swim bag on my shoulders Lol. Love these chairs-

Having this seat is so much more comfortable than sitting on the cold metal bleacher benches! The bungee cord base is very comfortable, the under bench hook makes it secure and the back support does its job! It is very easy to carry. It’s a very good purchase!

I don't know why I didn't buy a stadium seat earlier. I have spent years sitting in bleachers, killing my back, watching by my kids' events. I finally got one of these and absolutely can't believe how much more comfortable it makes sitting in bleachers! It's not cushioned or anything, but just the back support alone makes a huge difference. Also, this stadium seat looks like a very high quality one that I'm sure will last a long time. I'm thrilled with this purchase.

I go to many sport events for my grandkids and saw a lady and her family with these chairs..She highly recommended the chair. Bought it and highly recommend it !

Used while watching son's high school soccer games. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry to the stadium. It slips onto the bleacher easily. The main reason we purchased it is because Dear Husband is uncomfortable without back support on bleachers. This seat makes sitting comfortable because he can lean against the back. It also keeps your backside off the cold bleacher! There is no padding, but it is more comfortable than the metal bleacher.

Worth the extra for the breathable canvas. Very comfortable. Bleacher hook works well. Enables you to lean back with confidence. Should have bought these years ago.

It is simple and sturdy. I'm 218 lbs and my butt didn't hurt after sitting for 2 1/2 hours . My back was good too. The underneath hook is secure and simpleEven if you do the want the hook just leave it sideways and it won't interfere with your seat on the bench that may not have room for the hook.I've o ly used it 4 times but so far the support is there for the bottom and the back. Note the back will seemingly last forever. I have a small foam pad that you can add to it if ever the bottom support goes . So it's worth the 70

Works as described. Expensive if you have to pay full price. I found this one used so payed approx 50% of full price. Costco used to sell a pair for just over $50

I haven't tried them but it seems to me that the foam and strap kayak seats can't provide much back support and the straps may damage a SUP with the constant back-and-forth pulling on the D-rings.I'm still working on a good way of attaching this seat to my SUP but I'm happy with this purchase.I cut a bit off of the bars for the backrest because they poked the back of my arms when I was paddling. (I am 5'3".)
