Didymium Clip-On Flip-up Safety Glasses for Lampwork, Beadmaking PT-3

The quality of these glasses is excellent! They work wonderfully for torchwork and conveniently clip over my prescription glasses. They may not work for thick plastic frames but are great for the metal frames I have now. They make the glasses just a bit heavy, and my prescription glasses are a little older, so they're not staying in place well, so I am using one of those eyeglass retainers (like a Croakies brand or similar), and it works well. The issue is with my existing prescription glasses, and not likely to do with the didymium clip-on, except for the minimal added weight. Highly recommend!

I blacksmith with a forge and work with forge welding temps so using these in combination with my glasses does the trick. Changes the bright orange glow to a sort of reddish glow, definitely easier on the eyes. Only downside for me is the pair I have are clip on lenses for my prescription glasses and they add a bit of weight, often having to adjust on my head but not a deal breaker. Would definitely recommend.

Probably shouldn't, but you need these if you think those metal welding shade 3's from bosch or those sunday driver ray bans are helping you at all. they are smaller than those other ones for $80 but have the real deal glass in them so they can get heavy on your face. if you need a good stand in for not having any shades at all. i recommend starting here. try to avoid dark colors with these.

I got these because I have another pair that wasn’t as nicely made and didn’t fit over my prescription glasses. This does the trick quite nicely and fit well over my prescription glasses so I can see you really well and have protection. I use them for glass work that I do but I’m sure you can use them for many other things like it.

Does what it is suppose to do. Little heave but works.

I’ve wanted these for so long! I have been taking my glasses off in order to work the flame and wear soda glasses. I had no idea how much i was missing. I was worried these my hurt my regular glasses, nope. They gently clip on and flip up when needed.
