This color works great on stubborn grays. I have ordered this color several times.

Since L'Oréal stopped making liquid (not creme) haircolor I switched to Clairol. Clairol has a ton of great shades. Since I'm covering longer gray hair I mix it with a 10 developer (might make the shade come out darker-it does on me) I leave it on the top, sides, crown and underneath for 35-40 minutes. Apply to rest of my (already colored hair) for 5 minutes. Colored hair will grab the color in 5 minutes. Rinse out and apply a great conditioner (I only use WEN cleansing conditioner). Color comes out great everytime with superior gray coverage and the color takes longer to lift (fade).

I've been using Miss Clairol Grey Busters 5N for many years, since I first started going grey. It's the color that my hair used to be (but isn't any more--sigh) I use it with a 20 developer, and it works great. I get a lot of compliments on my hair (I have thick hair even at age 73, so take that into consideration). I apply it every 8 weeks to save money and I've never had a problem with it. (Except when some clerk advised me to try a lighter color and it made my hair orange, but that's another story!). I like getting it from Amazon because it's cheaper than Sally's and it's always in stock, and it's delivered right to my door. How can you not like that?

I love Clairol hair dye. I covers up the gray in a short amount of time. Once is all I need from this product versus the other brands.
