Amazing For Sun Glare
I looked at a lot of these before pulling the trigger on this one. I'm really glad I did - it works so well! It's cut down on a ton of glare from the sun which means I can actually see my backup camera in the afternoons! I really appreciate that it just pops right into the CD tray - a lot of the others I was looking at had adhesive tape. This makes really easy to put on and take off whenever. I'm using it in a 2016 Subaru Outback, but the 7-inch size seems like a pretty standard fit.

Works perfectly
Fit my 2019 nissan titan sv as if it was made for it. Well worth buying, this nissan camera needs all the help it can get. Helps with backing up safely. Fit in the cd player and has no gaps around it. The first brand I bought I tossed. This is simple but needed and very nice and practical. Highly recommend product and seller.

It works well, but is WAY overpriced!
I really hate myself for buying this, mainly because it works and I'm keeping it. I've always had a hard time seeing my '13 Prius screen on all but the cloudiest days (or at night). I saw this and it looked like it met my needs. Let's be clear, it does. It does a really nice job of shading the screen during even the clearest, sunniest days (all 3 of them in Michigan). But, I deducted a star because of value. Let's be completely honest, this is a $10 product. There's probably less than $1 worth of plastic in this (at cost). The engineering is good and the implementation is great, but the pricing on it is simply unfair. That being said, I guess they got me, so maybe it's not that unfair? Let me put it this way, I had major second thoughts about keeping this based solely on the price, not the functionality...if it had been a $10-12 product, it would be one of the best things I've ever bought for my vehicles.

worked ok, rattled when driving
The thing actually worked pretty well. Mounted into the CD slot. I had to use some double-stick tape though to keep the side brackets from rattling.

Small product, big impact
The Navishade is one of those small products with big impact. Slip the tabs into the CD player on your dash and you have a sturdy little awning over the navigation screen. It’s a life changer for backing up in bright sunshine. It fits perfectly in my Toyota Camry.

2017 Toyota Highlander fit not perfect but I love it
I got this for a 2017 Highlander, it doesn't fit perfectly, but it doesn't say it will fit a Highlander so I'm not taking off any stars. Wow, it's a huge improvement, the backup camera view is much easier to see. It's a little too narrow for the Highlander, so I used a heat gun to soften the plastic of the sides a bit, and held them bent outwards while the plastic cooled. You can see a little curve to them in my photo. I bent the outer parts of the top upwards a bit the same way, to move the sides out even more, and it's good enough now. Probably a hair dryer would work too. It slides right in to the CD slot, and it comes right out if you should want to play a CD. This is a really good thing for safety when backing up, and of course makes reading the screen for the other functions easier too.

Worked nicely for my 2019 4Runner (Entune Nav/audio system - CD above screen)
The only complaint about my new Toyota 4Runner is that the 6" navigation screen sits flush in the dash console (a bad design by Toyota) - any sunlight light causes terrible screen glare/washout so I have been looking for a solution and tried this product. The Navishade arrived quickly, easy to assemble - slides securely into my CD player slot. So far it has decreased most glare by 80-90% - depending on how the light angle comes into the windows. There will never be a perfect solution but this was close. It did not interfere with any of my control buttons or knobs and didn't require cutting anything out for knob access on my system which was a concern after reading some reviews (I can't say how it would fit in someone else's setup only mine). You cannot use the CD player when the hood is inserted (Not sure why people would even ask that question) but not a biggie since I use my iPod/SateliteXM/Radio all of the time -I rarely play CD's and it pops out easily if I do want to play a CD.NOTE: My CD slot is a standard 5" wide opening. The plastic molded inserts on the shade that go into the CD player are only about 4.75" wide max, fits fine.Negative: I felt the price was a little high for 3 pieces of molded plastic (but then again it works pretty darn good so the price didn't keep me from recently ordering a second one as backup in my glove compartment unassembled in case I break this one on of my many road trips).

Great product, easy installation, must-have for prius owners
SYNOPSIS: Where was this thing when i first got the car? lol. It works perfectly on my 2015 toyota Prius to block the sun.SIZE: Conforms perfectly around the edges of the screen of the radio/gps.COLOR: At first when i opened it, it didnt look the right color. But, once i put it on there it definitely matches the color of the dash. That same toyota gray with a brushed look.DURABILITY: Seems pretty sturdy, even though its plastic.INSTALLATION: Was super easy, at first i was afraid to push the clips that far into the CD Player. But, just give it a little pressure and it clicks into place. Now it feels solid and will not move.OVERALL: This product is a must have if you own a Toyota Prius and drive in the daytime. Which should be everyone. So, hurry up and get one unless you are a vampire that only drives at night. I should have bought one of these a long time ago. Now whenever i want to play my sweet tunes i can the screen.
