Sony BRAVIA KD49XH81 - 49-inch - LED - 4K Ultra HD - High Dynamic Range (HDR) - Smart TV (Android TV) - with Voice Remote - (Black, 2020 model) [Energy Class G]

I’ve had this tv for 5 months now and I’ve not had a single issue with it at all. Very happy with the picture and the sound quality.Some reviewers have mentioned the sound isn’t great but I’m not sure what they expecting from this tv. The volume goes up to 100. I have mine between 30 and 40 depending on what I am watching. Clearly this is less than half of the volume itself! It’s more than adequate.The home menu is is easy to navigate around. Apps such as Disney + can be downloaded onto the tv and will appear in the home page. You can even move these around to have your favourites at the top.Remote control is quite long but easy to hold if you have big hands. Buttons are also spread apart from one another for those with wide fingers making this an easy to handle remote control. I have the voice recognition remote and it has always picked up anything I have said no matter how obscure my requests are from a wide range of music bands and tracks to films and tv shows. Serially cannot fault the voice recognition on the remote.Overall this tv has been a fantastic purchase for myself and has always done everything it is supposed to. Motion flow can even be turned off for those that don’t want to watch old films that look like the picture has been sped up. Why it’s an option in the first place is baffling.

It's fantastic!We have upgraded from 40 inch Sony Bravia we've had bought 3 years back. At first it was a shock to watch TV 📺 on such a huge screen.It took few good weeks for us to get used to it.I was worried about the stand , will it be solid will it support such a huge frame , will it be flimsy ? I have 10 year old and he tends to play with his friends as if life ends tomorrow .I always wondered are bigger TVs 📺 more premium to smaller ones ?The answers:TV 📺 is huge but great! I can't imagine watching TV on smaller one now, each time I switch to smaller TV (like our Sony in the bedroom 32") I feel I can't see anything.The picture quality is exquisite 👌The sharpness of edges and vividness of colours is much more distinct than other Sony TV 📺 we've had .Even remote is better - metal not plastic and slimmer , looks and feels great.The stand is very solid and TV 📺 stands without any movement (even when my son is running around like crazy) 🤪I have a sound bar but I do not use it as sound is good enough coming from a TV.The display doesn't collect as much dust as our old TV (somehow) .All in all this huge expensive 📺 TV is much better than any we've had in the past .I an confirm that I'll never go for non premium TV 📺 again.Picture is betterRemote is betterQuality is betterThe look is better.Sound is better .I would buy again and I would recommend 👌Well worth the money 💰I hope my review was helpful.

I decided on 4 stars eventually, it's a mixed bag.Out of the box, the picture is dreadful. If I hadn't been warned, I'd have sent it back, but some work with the settings does eventually get a very good picture - turn off all the display-mode rubbish, go for "custom settings", and work forward from there. But, out of the box, it's over-cooked and over-saturated and reminiscent of the worst excesses of cheap Samsung LCD panels in hotel rooms of 15 years ago. Appalling. I don't know why manufacturers do this!The sound is exactly as bad as I expected; two tiny speakers firing downwards are not going to fill a room with sound, no matter what the adverting material says.To my surprise, straight out of the box, it streamed 4K over wifi. Full marks for that. Though it should be wired.To no surprise at all, it has software bugs. Twice now the Disney+ app has misbehaved - no sound and juddering picture - requiring a complete reset (long press on the remote's ON button if you're wondering).

I dont use all the smart features to be sure, but I do use some. I was worried about ease of use with a feature-heavy TV, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how intuitive the controls are. Picture is great - none of the smearing of slow response tech you see in cheaper large TVs. Sound is ok for general use, but a bit weak in bass for the odd blockbuster. We use a cheap sound bar which again was easy to use. Also, the TV is much much lighter than the 40" Sony Bravia from 2006 it replaced, but I was able to re-use the wall mount without any problem. Happy with purchase.

I bought the 49 inch TV. This TV is exactly what I was looking for. It has chrome cast and airplay built-in which is a big plus for me. I can even use this as a wireless monitor for my laptop. The picture quality and overall build quality as you expect from SONY. I never bought any other TV brand ever and as always I am really satisfied. The sound is not bad but if you want a real experience you have to use external speakers. The only complaint I have is regarding the delivery service os Hermes. They don't even care to give a call even though it's clearly written in the delivery instruction. I had to wait an extra day even on that day the delivery man delivered it to me on the street and I have to carry it all the way to my apartment. Never had such a bad experience on order in amazon.

After decade with Draconian old TV my investment for this new TV is well worthy. This android Sony TV is everything , it's has the main apps such as Google play, Amazon prime, BT sport and so on. Its easy to use and there is dedicated button on remote for netflix . There is only one small problem the sound quality it's not great as it's is with every TV , it's necessary to invest on sound bar to experience the sound quality but it's luxury.

Firstly, the size, not overpowering, secondly, the picture quality and the general appearance and layout of the set. Easy to install and control and the voice control is a bonus. Sound quality is very good for this size set. So far so good. No complaints.
