Small footprint but can support lots of devices
I rejigged my office, during lockdown, and realised that I now had a lot more devices that needed to be powered at the same time - but my extension leads didn't have enough sockets (4-6 at best). I wanted something that would support more devices (at least 8 plugs) but also - hopefully - had USB sockets to increase the capacity. I liked the look of this one - the black and white, curved, design and also the 'tower' style that would have a smaller footprint under my desks. I wanted the 10' lead, too, as I needed to run it along the back wall to a socket at the other end of the room. The unit is, indeed small, and can take two normal plugs on each of the four sides - with the 4 USB sockets together at the bottom of one side. There are two on/off buttons at the top of the unit, which allow you to control the top and bottom row of plugs - so you can have your 'permanently on' devices on one row and your 'as/when needed' items on another row, and you don't have to have everything on all the time. Nice little unit and much more useful than a normal style long/flat extension strip.

Good value for a "power tower".
For the price, I am a happy customer. The build quality is almost perfect, there are some defects in the plastic shell, however this does not impact the item's performance. I didn't notice in a darkly lit room. The cable is made out of thermoflex- same as kettle and PC leads, so it's wear resistant if you step on the cable. There are 8 plugs available, and 4 USB ports. Can't say anything for the surge protection as I do not get them frequently. It seems to handle the power draw when all 4 USBs are full, and 3 plugs. I have not tested it beyond that, but I can say it's a good piece of kit. It's handy if you don't have enough USB ports or plugs available.2.1A output on the USB connectors is sufficient for charging things if you are in a rush. Use a fast charging plug if you want a higher amperage.Really has made managing my electronics easier- there is now one place for all things on charge.

Does the job
I've been looking for a extension with USB slots. It has 8 plug slots, 2 on each side. The plastic feels a bit flimsy and the plastic side presses down when adding a plug. There are 4 USB slots which are helpful. However, it would have been better if the power cable was on the opposite site of the USB slots.Overall, the extension lead is value for money and does what it's intended to do. Perhaps the next model could be more sturdy and the design more pragmatic.

Good, compact tower extension power strip
We got one of these for our lockdown home office setup. Both myself and my partner are working from home and this strip has been very good for us. It's allowed us to not have loads of cables trailing over the floor for the home office. It is compact for the number of outlets you get from it and being squat and quite wide is resistant to having cats knock it over. There are two power buttons on it - one powers the bottom row and the other the top so if we're starting and stopping work at different times, we can easily switch off just our switches. Of course, individual switches would be good too but once we'd got it set up right, it's certainly quicker to power off just half of the things with one button. It seems like it's of sturdy construction and overall we're very happy with it.

Tower Extension Cable
This is of plastic construction which seems sturdy. It has a small footprint, so doesn't take up much space. The sockets are intelligently positioned and spaced, allowing for all sockets to be used simultaneously even with larger plugs. USB sockets are a useful addition, providing plenty of options to charge your devices. It is controlled by 2 switches, giving some control over which sockets are turned on or off, unfortunately, there seems to be no indicator which switch controls which sockets which can lead to accidentally turning off the wrong device. It would be even better if each socket was individually switched.Overall, I'm impressed with this extension tower. With a few minor improvements, it would be even better.

Well designed and does the job well
Lockdown has meant that I've been working from home for several months. Eventually the DIY wind up extension lead and random chargers dotted around the room got the better of me and I looked for something to tidy up my desk space. So far I've been impressed with this power tower. It has 8 sockets and 4 USBs and a 3m cable. It's compact, appears to be well made, it looks smart and, importantly, does the job. I've had 6 items plugged in (3 laptops, a monitor, speakers and a garmin) along with 3 phones. Everything worked and charged. I'm always sceptical about reviews etc and can be very picky but based on my experience, I'd recommend it.

Useful for the numerous sockets needed for PC
I bought this extension cord to organise my desktop. It has enough outlets for my use. Also comes with USB ports which are nice additions. I am trying a tower extension for the first time and believe me it will save lots of your space! The cord length is around 3M. It has two switch on top by which we can enable to sockets. It also equipped with many safety features like overload protection, anti-thunder technology and fire protection. The one disadvantage is that the sockets are fairly close together which means larger than standard plugs may block other sockets. But it does not matter unless you use really big plug. Overall a good product.

It's Okay ... But Does have Serious Design Flaws
At this price point you cannot expect the perfect solution but it suffices. The design does have some serious flaws. The two buttons on top of the tower feel incredibly flimsy and cheap when pushed. I've had no problems with them both so far but there is an eek of worry each time I use it that it will be the final time.More concerning is that the plug sockets on each quadrant of the tower are not labelled to the corresponding power buttons responsible for them. You would think that one of the two power buttons would power 2 sides of the tower and vice versa. However, its not the case and it does get confusing. It's an unnecessary stress so I just keep both buttons on at all times.
