Works great to protect fine chain while soldering on jump ring. However it is very messy and crumbles all over.

I was using potatoes when soldering to protect the gemstones - this is much better. :)

I am not happy with its performance. The stones I covered with the product got colored oink that I was unable to remove.

If you have evere done soldering and suffering for fire scale or don't want to remove pieces from your work thus us the product you need. I have used this in ring work and watch repair. This is a great protector for anything you don't want to over heat while doing sift or hard soldering.

This used to be easy to get but now all but one of my local suppliers is retired. I'm glad to have gotten it from you for a good price. Now, what I need is micronox gas for my torch. Nitrous oxide will work, but not for more than a minute per cylinder.
