Glimyu Wash gel for the face, mild cleansing for blemished and dry skin, vegan Korean cosmetics

I have never used a gel based cleanser before, I always use an oil based cleanser to remove my makeup followed by a water based one. Oil based cleansers are great, but you get through them so quickly and they are very runny so can upset my eyes if I use too much. This gel one solves that issue.Pros:- Vegan and good set of ingredients that are nourishing for the skin- Doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes- Smells refreshing with a citrus scent- Gel initially feels thick but melts down into a thinner paste, so you don't need to use loads- Easy to use - just pull out a dab of gel, rub it between your fingers to warm it up and then massage into your skin in circular motions, even over waterproof mascara. It just seems to lift makeup away! My oil based cleanser leaves my face black with eye makeup, whereas this seems to just make it disappear instead of smear it- Removes all makeup and leaves skin feeling clean (follow up with a water based cleanser and cotton pad just to remove any remnants)- Skin feels super soft after use- Feels like it will last a long timeCons:- The scent is strong, if you don't like that sort of thingOverall, we all know Korean skincare is a leader in the world and I'm impressed with this brand so far. My skin is looking really good - not completely clear as of yet but I'll give it time - and this cleanser has exceeded my expectations with makeup removal, specifically the eyes. My eye area needs some extra love and care so the fact this is moisturising too whilst removing the makeup makes it totally worth the money in my eyes. I'll be buying this once I run out for sure!

I received the full range of Glimyu skincare products to test, so keep in mind I am using this in conjunction with all the other items. I think it's a really good range.I have been using this cleansing balm for 2 or 3 weeks. To be honest, I haven't tended to bother with much of a skincare routine before, as I don't wear makeup very often. I just used to put on SPF moisturiser, and let my face get wet in the shower. I have had pretty good skin. But I have started to notice fine lines and blotchiness, and was getting a bit dissatisfied.After a few weeks of using this range, my skin looks brighter, smoother and more even toned. The pores on my nose are looking cleaner (they weren't noticeably grubby to the naked eye, but there were tiny specks of dirt which you could see with a magnifying mirror. Those have now cleared out).The cleanser smells of orange, and is a Vaseline-type balm which melts into an oil on the skin. You don't need to use much to spread on the skin. What I do is rub it in for a bit, splash water on my face and rub with the water, and then use a very wet bamboo cloth to wipe off the cleanser. Afterwards my face feels clean and soft, without feeling greasy.I like this cleanser enough that I will consider buying more when it runs out, even though using the whole range together makes for an expensive skincare routine. Out of the range, this and the SPF primer were the items which impressed me the most.

Using this was interesting half expected the tub of it and a big one at that to be more solid maybe due to the warmer weather it’s not as solid as say in winter.I took a blob of it out and rubbed it into palms only a small amount required as it does soon well immediately in this warm muggy weather melt. Applied it to face after wearing foundation and blusher along with lipstick and first thing I noticed was the scent of it smelt really citrus and refreshing.It’s almost like a balm but I do worry if transporting it in a toiletry bag in warm weather or in suitcase would it melt and make a mess of anything it touched if it leaked out.My face after taking the makeup of felt cleaned no spotty or red outbreaks. No itchy irritated skin which is a blessing as do suffer with sensitive skin. This felt like a beauty product that is both soothing as well as one that has a double use when used wet. As then it can be used to remove mascara too. I tired this afterwards and yes it did remove it but needed a couple of wipes over to make sure any fragments of mascara was totally gone.Seems expensive but a big tub what does concern me though is if it leaks or all melts to nothing think that’s the thing with balms. No leaflet comes with this on how to use etc but given on side of tub along with ingredients.

My wife was very impressed with this, and thought it justified the price tag.“This is a good size tub, and the balm actually works and smells wonderful too.It looks like lemon jelly when you open the tub, and a waft of the orange oil hits your nose straight away. It appears to be fairly solid, but as you scoop a little out the warmth of your hands loosens it to produce the right consistency for use.You simply rub it gently onto your face until all your makeup is removed, and then rinse off with warm water when. If you have mascara, I suggest you put the balm onto a cotton pad and then use that for application, which gives a far better result.It left my skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed as well as smelling wonderful. Overnight I actually stopped using my night cream so as to let it work its magic whilst I was asleep. As it is so light in texture, it felt it was helping my skin to breathe.”

I’ve seen these sorts of products from much more expensive product houses ( one was around the £100 mark!) so when this came up I knew I had to try it.The texture is just a bit stiffer than jelly, it is made from lots of lovely different oils and has a nice citrus type scent. It is easy to scoop out of the jar, and once massages into skin it softens a bit more. After massaging into dry skin I use a reusable cotton pad to remove with water. After using my skin feels so soft and nourished and it is a really gentle way of cleansing. It hasn’t upset my troublesome skin at all which some new products can do.I was a bit wary at first of trying a product from a brand I’d never heard of but I’m really pleased I’ve tried it and I will continue to buy this product. Can’t wait to try the rest of the range.

Ich liebe dieses Produkt… hatte schon soviel versucht. Ich habe wirklich eine sehr empfindliche Haut, aber mit diesen Produkt habe ich endlich wieder eine reine und und vor allem strahlende Haut. Kein Scherz

Das schnell gelieferte Glimyu Waschgel gehört zu einer Kosmetiklinie aus Korea, die ein Primer & Sonnen-Gel (B08525TVGQ), Gesichts-Wasser ohne Alkohol (B08526FT93), Tages- & Feuchtigkeits-Creme (B08525LHSV) und eine Gesichts-Maske mit Hyaluron (B08526CWSZ) umfasst.Das Waschgel ist in attraktiver Dose, die im Karton und innen in der Dose versiegelt ankam. Nach dem Abziehen des Siegels hat man ein zitronengelbes und unglaublich gut riechendes Waschgel vor sich. Der Duft des Orangenöls setzt sich hier durch.Das Auftragen ist sparsam, man kann das Gel sehr gut verteilen und hat nach dem Abspülen ein sauberes, frisches Hautgefühl.Da ich nichts in der Familie testen kann, ohne mehrere Finger im Tiegel zu haben, sind die Teenager natürlich sofort neugierig geworden.Was besonders positiv aufgefallen war, die Pickel, die in der Pubertät auftreten, beruhigten sich umgehend und verschwanden. Dieses Waschgel ist, wie schon zuvor von den meisten Testern beschrieben, in Konsistenz und Duft vielleicht erst gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ich finde alles super!Brennt nicht, macht wasserfesten Lippenstift souverän ab, allerdings schwächelt es bei Augen-Make-Up, was ich aber nicht schlimm finde.Ich habe eine extrem empfindliche Haut, die zu Allergien neigt und benutze normalerweise dreimal wöchentlich Cortisonsalbe deshalb. Das brauche ich, dank des Waschgels, tatsächlich nicht mehr!Alles in allem also auch super!Was mich allerdings stört und deshalb einen Punkt abziehen lässt, ist der Preis! Superteuer!Ich bin zwei Monate, bei morgendlicher und abendlicher Benutzung, mit der Dose ausgekommen. Da komme ich mit 5€-Babywaschzeug aus der Drogerie länger hin, brauche allerdings auch Cortison…Wer es sich leisten kann, sollte zugreifen, ich werde es im Hinterkopf (oder auf der Wunschliste) behalten und nach einer günstigeren Alternative suchen.

Ich bin verliebt in diesen Reinigungsbalsam. 💕Der Balsam kommt in einer hübschen grün - weißen Verpackung, die Dose ist weiß mit einem grünen Deckel und sieht hübsch aus. Da auf der Verpackung Jelly Cleansing Balm steht, habe ich mit einem feinen Gel gerechnet, aber was in dieser Dose ist, ist schon etwas Besonderes und ganz anders als erwartet.Beim Öffnen des Deckels kommt erst mal noch eine weiße Abdeckung aus Kunststoff, das finde ich sehr angenehm, so hängt der Inhalt nicht immer am Deckel. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt der Inhalt wie Haarwachs nur gelblich und duftet sehr dezent und angenehm nach Zitrone, Kirsche, Mandel, Vanille also sehr lecker und fruchtig. Die Konsistenz des Balsams ist eine Mischung aus Seife, Balsam und Wachs, es reicht nur ganz wenig auf den Händen, etwas anwärmen, dann verändert sich die Konsistenz und wird ganz zart, Wasser drauf ins Gesicht massieren und es schäumt sehr schön auf, ich bin von der Zusammensetzung sehr begeistert. Der Balsam wird in Verbindung mit Wärme ganz geschmeidig, wie eine zarte Wasch - Creme.Danach muss man das Gesicht mit sehr viel Wasser abwaschen, dazu nehme ich einen Waschlappen, der Balsam brennt mir nicht in den Augen und ich bin da schon etwas empfindlich. Die Rückstände auf dem Waschlappen sehen aus wie Seife, allerdings ist das alles viel schöner und milder. Nach dem Reinigen fühlt sich meine Haut sehr sauber und sehr erfrischt an, es ist ein herrliches Gefühl. Man merkt das da etwas auf der Haut zurückgeblieben ist, trotz des reinen Gefühls und die Haut klebt ein kleines bisschen. Nach kurzer Zeit fühlt sich die Haut weich und gesättigt an, wie ein kleiner Rest von Wachs, aber sehr angenehm.Dieser Reinigungsbalsam ist wirklich etwas Außergewöhnliches, man muss es einfach selbst ausprobieren, denn es lässt sich schwer in Worte fassen. Ich benutze seit Jahren Reinigungsschaum oder zuletzt ein sehr schönes schäumendes Reinigungsgel, aber dieser Balsam ist mit nichts zu vergleichen, was ich bisher probiert habe. Ein sehr schönes Hautgefühl, Reinheit und Pflege. Ich bin sicher, dass manch einer bei diesem Produkt hängen bleibt, wenn er diesen Balsam ausprobiert. Ich werde ihn auf jeden Fall weiter benutzen und lasse meine Creme momentan stehen.❣ Ich empfehle dieses Produkt sehr gerne weiter. 💗

My first experience with a cleansing balm. It removes even waterproof eye makeup without irritating my eyes, and smells good (like oranges). Those are rhe two stars. I feel like I am washing my face with vaseline. It doesn't emulsify with water as it should. Regardless of how long or warm I wash my face, it's like smearing vaseline over my face. The only way to remove it is either with another cleanser, or with a washcloth. I am NOT impressed.
